Episode 59: Patty!

Hello everyone and welcome to the 59th Episode of Ask or Dare: Cartoon and Anime All-Stars Character Logs! Today's episode is all about the girl of Chavo's dreams, Patty!

Origins

Patty is a minor character from El Chavo, which first aired on Canal 5 in Mexico on October 21, 2006 and on Kabillion in 2011. Her Spanish VA is Maggie Vera while her dub VA is Tara Platt, who also happens to voice her aunt, Gloria.

Background and Personality

In the show, Patty is known for being the prettiest out of the El Chavo gang, although she only appeared on certain occasions in the first 3 seasons, but in the later seasons, she became a more prominent part of the series. While most girls who look beautiful tend to be snobs, Patty is actually a very gentle and kindhearted girl, though she can be occasionally sassy.

Inclusion and Role in the Show

Like the rest of the El Chavo gang, Patty made her debut in Episode 45: That's True, That's True, That's True! Despite her not getting any questions and dares that often, I made her the 6th main protagonist of the series. I originally made her the 5th main protagonist, but Emily got mad because I kept neglecting her in favor of Chavo and Patty, so I made her the 5th main protagonist and pushed Patty back to 6th.

Relationships with Other Characters

Chavo: Chavo is Patty's boyfriend. She chose him as her boyfriend over Quico because of Chavo's kinder heart and true loyalty. Ever since then, they became one of the most prominent couples in the series, and their relationship grows stronger as the series progresses, especially in Season 3. That's where Chavo x Patty REALLY starts to shine!

Quico: Quico is a simp for Patty. While she liked him at first, Patty has grown to hate him because of his constant arrogance and for kidnapping her and manipulating April's siblings for his own selfish desires.

Phoebe: Phoebe is Patty's self-proclaimed rival because of Chavo choosing Patty over her. Patty also doesn't like her, but not as much as she hates Quico.

April: Patty and April have grown to be close friends for their hatred for Quico.
