Chapter 4

Manav's POV:
After the week I had in that stupid village and now that I've agreed to take all the responsibilities, I think I'll be killing myself soon with the load of work I'm going to have and the rules I've to follow. I was sitting in the couch area of my house, my mum is in the kitchen, Tanzu went out about half an hour ago and I don't know where Dad is, maybe at his office, the door bell rings and I don't stand up, Mom yells "Manav go open the door now" aghh I've to now I stand up and go to open the door and it's a girl standing with a suitcase, she looks up and HOLYY MOTHER OF GOD it's her!!
"YOU" she says as surprised as I'm right now, I never wanted to see her again, flashback running through my mind how I took my anger out on her, I've been feeling guilty for that but I didn't knew she was gonna show up in front my house! "What the hell are you doing here?" I say to her
"What are you doing here" she says back. "It's my house" I say to her and my mum joins me and look at the girl and hugs her saying "Oh Ashi, you're here"
I connect all the dots and Oh god she's the Ashi, Addy's sister. My family has been waiting for her and she is going to live with us... HOW AM I GOING TO SURVIVE..
I walk away from them and head staright to my room.
I'm already taking the leadership and now this, I really need to sort things out. I need to be straight with her since she's going to live with us, If she wasn't Addy's sister I couldn't care less. Also, if she's Addy's sister she's just like us that's a relief.
I can hear my mom taking her to upstairs and she's right above my room. I look for my phone to call my lil brother and realise I left it on the couch area. I go to the couch area, grab my phone and dial my lil brother and he picks up in the first go "Where are you?" I speak into the phone "behind you" he reply and I turn around he's waving to me "why did you pick up then?" I say to him while hanging up "you were desperately calling how could I miss" he replies. "Desperately, what?" I say to him well I was calling him desperately to rescue me but I won't tell him that
"I can see it in your face" he says as he walk towards me "well your friend is here" I say to him and my mum and Ashi walk down from the stairs and they're now coming to us. "I know she called me" Tanz say to me and I say "okay have fun, I'm gonna go"
"where are you going" he ask me
"I don't know , somewhere Out" I reply and walk outside the main door. I forgot to grab my key so I go back inside and as I was heading towards my room my mom calls me "Manav can you please come here" Oh god mum not now. I walk to her and I say "yes mum"
"your father just called we are leaving tomorrow morning" she say to me and I reply "what, why you guys weren't supposed to go until next week, and how I'm going to SURVIVE THAT CEREMONY"
"Calm down you'll be fine and the ceremony is a day after tomorrow" she say to me as if it's nothing, I don't know what to say to her so I just walk into my room, I lay on my bed staring at the wall and I don't know when I fell asleep but I did.

Few hours later someone's knocking on my door I look at my phone first, it's 8:39, how much did I've to sleep. I missed my lunch too agh I'm too hungry.
"Hey you wierdo, what's going on" Tanzeel's voice travels through the door "Nothing just come in" I reply to him as I stand up , he comes in and say "if nothing then let's go out"
"Out where? I'm really hungry" I say to him and he reply as he sits on my bed "well the let's go and have dinner, Ashi will be joining too" and as her names come out of his mouth I instantly say "No, I'm not coming"
"Come on what with your behaviour today?" He says
"No I just don't want to, I'll just have my dinner here" I reply
"What are you going to have Mum and Dad are with their friends since it's their last day here" he say to me and I remember idk how to cook so I say "okay fine, but can you call those two fairies?"
"You mean my friends?" He say to me and I reply "aren't they fairies?"
"You're really irritating you know" he says to me and I say "yes I know now get out I'll get changed and come out"
"As if you use your hands to get changed" he says to me and I just swing my hands and out on my jacket "well that's a trick you don't know how to use so you're just jealous" I say to him as I wave my fingers into my hair and they're fixed, these are the only perks of these powers trust me.
"Let's go then" he say and I shook my legs my shoes are on. We both go outside and Ashi walks down from the stairs, she stands in front of us "you look pretty" Tanzeel say to her and she replies "thankyou"
"Let's go if you guys are done" I say to them "you two go I'll join you in a bit I've to call someone" Tanzeel says and I get nervous and say to him "No, just tell them to fly or something, YOU'RE COMING WITH US!!"
