Chapter 8

TANZEEL'S POV:
I pick my phone up it's already 8:45 pm, Sanket and I've been hanging out all day we cooked lunch, we were playing computer games all day, I knocked on Ashi's door like 3 or 4 times and even Sanket knocked twice but she said the same thing to both of us each time "I'm fine, I just need some time." I'm really worried about her I think I should call Addy "Hey put more salt in it" Sanket pulls me out of my thoughts "Yeah" I tell him.
Few minutes later Manav walk in from the main door towards us "You were out?" I ask him
"Yes, I'd some work to do" he replies
"Are you ready for tomorrow?" I ask him and Aashna and Unnati joins us in the kitchen. "Hello boys" Unnati say to us and I reply "Hello girls"
"Where is Ashi?" Aashna ask me and Manav looks at me "She's still in her room?"
"Yeah ever since she found out yk she has locked herself in the room we called her but she said she is fine and want sometime alone" I tell them
"We'll go and check on her" Unnati tells us
"Dinner is almost ready bring her with you, she hasn't eaten all day" I tell them and the girls walks upstairs. Manav looks at me "When is Addy coming?" He ask me and I reply "I don't know I haven't talked to him"
and after few minutes of awkward silence Sanket ask us "Hey, when exactly is the ceremony tomorrow I mean what time?"
"I don't know exactly but my time of oath is 5:30pm" Manav replies and I glare at him,
"We've to be there at 11 in the morning, few preparations and everything and the guest will be arriving at 5:00" I tell both of them.
"Oh actually Ashi's-" Sanket is  stopped mid sentence when The girls three girls walk towards us.

UNNATI'S POV:
Aashna and I walk upsatirs to Ashi's room,we knock on the door "Ashi" I say she doesn't reply "It's us" Aashna say. "Hey open the door, we are here for you" I tell her through the door and few seconds later the door is unlocked I open the door we walk inside she's sitting on the edge of the bed, we walk towards her and we sit with her.
"It's hard isn't it?" I ask her and she looks at me then back on her hands which are placed on her laps. "Well when I found out I almost killed a person with my powers so this is much better than that" Aashna say and she looks up at her then me "Yeah she did" I tell her and she chuckles a bit finally.
"What are you two?" She ask
"We're fairies" Aashna replies
"I'm a Spiritual Fairy and She's a healing fairy" I tell Ashi.
"Do you have magical powers?" Ashi ask curiously
"Ofcourse we do" Aashna replies
"I can talk to the dead and trust when I found out that I was terrified" I tell Ashi and she gasp "seriously?"
"Yeah" I nod dramatically
"what about you?" Ashi ask Aashna and she reply "I'm a healing fairy you've seen what I do"
"Oh yeah" Ashi replies
"So don't worry you'll get through this, and yk we're here for you" I tell her and Aashna and I put our hands on her shoulder and pulls her for a hug.
"Oh wow a girls moment" Aashna say dramatically and we three brust into laughter. We stand up and I tell Ashi "C'mon let's go downstairs and have some dinner I'm really hungry"
Ashi looks at both of us "Btw we're staying the night" Aashna tells her and we three walk out of the door. We reach downstairs Sanket was saying something but he stop after he see us well mostly Ashi.
"Hey you okay?" Tanzeel ask her, all eyes on her
"Yeah" Ashi replies.
"Let's have dinner" Sanket say in his English accent. I love his accent. We all sit on the dinning table, Tanzeel and Sanket serves us the dinner.
We all are talking random stuffs and the thing we've to do tomorrow. Aashna and I are not protecters but since we're the only fairies in Seattle so the base asked us to join, we refused at first but then Manav convinced me and I convinced Aashna.
Aashna and I've been living together since our college. We've known each other for  5 or 6 years only but it feels like forever. We use to live in the college dorm room, we were Room mates but just a few months later we bought an apartment, and our bond grew stronger and stronger after that.

We all finish our dinner and Tanzeel tells "Who's doing the dishes?" Ashi replies "I'll do"
"It's fine we boys will do" Manav say to us and Tanzeel and Sanket glares at him. We put our plates on the sink and Us girls walk out of the kitchen. We sit on the couch in the living area.
"Whose bags are this?" Ashi ask us
"Ours, since we're staying the night so we needed few things" Aashna reply to her.
"I'm so glad you guys are here" Ashi tells us and I reply "we're too but no crying" I say and we look at each other and we start laughing.
"Hey how did you end up hurting someone if you're a healing fairy" Ashi ask Aashna and we stop laughing, Aashna looks at me then her "How long you waited to ask this question"
"It's just popped up in my mind" Ashi replies
"Well, even if I'm healing fairy I've some powers just like you guys you've speed, strength and skills but you always have a special power so we've it too we don't have speed and all but we do have powers to protect ourselves and we're pretty smart then you guys" Aashna explains it to her.
"What's with the special powers that we guys have?" Ashi mocks
"That is for you to figure out, I mean everyone has different powers, I don't know how to explain this because I haven't seen anyone with their special power except once I saw Manav with blue flames around him but that was only once when we were drunk and he lost his shit in the bar after a fight with someone" I explain to Ashi and she replies "well thankyou for the information but I understood nothing" and we laugh again.
"Listen you're going to see a lot of things like wierder things, things you can't explain so you'll get use to it." Aashna tells her.
"and what's with the ceremony tomorrow?" Ashi ask again and God she has a lot of questions
"How many questions do you have?" Aashna say with a playful smile "This is last I swear"
"Protecters work as a clan so they've a leader too and for the Seattle base that leader is going to be Manav tomorrow but before that he has to take a oath and after that all the powers of a leader will be his" I explain again
"and before you ask anything else again Manav is taking the oath because his father was the head of the base before and it's his duty as the heir of the family" Aashna tells her and Ashi starts speaking again "What-" and thank god she's stopped when Boys joins us in the living room.
"So what are you girls talking about" Tanzeel asks us as they sit on the other sofa.
"Nothing just some girls talk" Aashna replies
"Well if you're done with it let's watch a movie or something" Tanzeel tell us and I reply "yeah movie sounds fun"
"I still have my speech to write so I'm gonna pass" Manav say
"You haven't wrote your speech yet?" Aashna ask him
"Nah I was just waiting for you to  ask me this" he mocks
"Aww how sweet of you" Aashna replies with a fake smile as Manav walks out of the living room to his bedroom.
"Let's go please" Tanzeel tells us and we walk to the back room it's  like a home theater. I remember when Manav Tanzeel and I set this whole thing up for Aashna's birthday last year. It was temporary but the boys decided to make it a theater room.

ASHI'S POV:
After an hour or longer my phone is buzzing like anything Addy is calling me "I'm going to my room" I tell all of them and they all look up at me "Already sleepy?" TK asks me and I reply "yeah just a bit tired and Addy is calling me non stop"
"Okay is he coming tomorrow?" TK ask me
"I don't know maybe I'll ask him now" I tell him and he nods and I walk out of the room, I quickly walk upstairs to my room I sit on my bed take a long deep breath, Addy is still calling me I pick up the phone and he shouts into the phone "Happy Birthday lil sister"
"Thankyou big brother" I reply to him.
"Where were you I called and texted you like 100 times" He tells me and I reply "This is your fifth call and I it saw 2 unread messages from Addy" I tell him.
"You know what I mean" He laughs
"Yeah yeah, anyways we were watching a movie so I didn't wanna disturb them" I tell him and quickly says "We?"
"Yeah, Tanzeel Aashna Ashi and we've a foreign guest Sanket" I tell him and he says "Oh so you're having fun" and I reply "Not really, but listen when are you coming here?"
"Tomorrow, I guess" He replies and I sigh. "Hey are you okay?" He ask me and I reply "yeah yeah I'm fine just tired"
"Okay then goodnight see you soon lil sister" He tells me and I hear a thud near the window I look back at the window someone is there "hello Ashi you there" Addy says into the phone and I reply "Yeah, good night big bro see you soon" and I hang up the phone I walk towards the guy standing near my window Lights are on so I can see it's Manav.
"What are you doing here?" I ask him
"Nothing" He replies
"Why are you here?and Can't you use a door for coming here" I ask him
"Uhm, I've something to show you" He say to me and I reply "what?"
"Just walk with me" He say to me and I reply "why?"
"Just walk" he tells me and start walking towards the door. I'm still standing near the window, he looks back "C'mon I'm not going to kill you" he say and I walk towards him he grabs my hand "Don't make a noise" he tells me and close the door behind him. "So you do know how to use a door" I say to him and he stares at me.
