Chapter 6

AASHNA'S POV:
He finally says "I'm Sanket" and I look at him "How did you end up here" I ask him curiously and he replies "Where am I?"
"You're in Seattle" I say to him he's shocked "America?" He ask and I reply "YEAH"
"Who are you?" He ask me and I reply "Aashna"
"No, I mean why are you helping me?" he ask me, he looks so confused "Well my friend asked me to!" I reply him and he say instantly "Which friend, who are you guys?"
"Hey the one who was here 5 minutes earlier with his mom" I reply and he stays silent for a bit, he looks deeply thinking. "Why did you kiss me?" He ask and I look away I wasn't expecting that question "I won't ask again" he say and I look at him saying"Are you really threatening me?"
"Forget it, you Americans are all the same" He replies, I don't know what he mean about that but I can say it's not a compliment "Hey I saved your life okay, The lady who was asking questions is the wife of the Head of the Seattle base okay, they're leaving for New york so we didn't wanted anything to hold them back specially a fake Black swan" I snap at him
"Fake, huh and btw if he's the head of Seattle base then why is he leaving for New york?" He say to me and I really don't want to explain but I'm so curious if he's a Black swan or not he looks like one bit I don't know.
"You're lying aren't you?" He ask me and I reply "No, I'm not. He retired the boy you saw is his son and he's going to be the New head of Seattle base, his ceremony is tomorrow" and now he's deeply thinking, my phone vibrates I pick it up it's a text from Unnati 'Where are you?' and I reply her back 'Manav's house. Come over please!'
"Where's my shirt" The guy say and I reply "Uhm, you can't wear that it has  blood on it" I say to him and he replies "So what now?" I don't know if it was for his shirt or for the situation we're in but I reply "Manav's room is closer you can wear one of his" I say to him and he denies saying "No, I'm not wearing anyone's clothes!" and I say "okay stay like this" he replies "Don't flatter yourself" and I instantly say "Then just do as I say"
"whatever" he replies and we walk out of the door. We walk towards Manav's room, he is not in the room, I walk towards his closet and grab a shirt I give it to him he wears it quickly, it's a lil loose for him, well Manav is really tall so We walk out from Manav's room "I think they left" he looks at me "Manav's Mom and Dad" I say to him and he replies "So?" and I say under my breath "God he's so irritating" and I think he heard that. I hear footsteps I take a step back Manav is walking towards us, I sigh of relief. Manav stands in front of me he looks at Sanket and say "I'm Manav, the head of Seattle base" while Shaking his hand and Sanket reply "I'm Sanket, really glad someone is mature here" Manav smiles and I know exactly what he meant by mature. Tanzeel and Ashi joins us and we all back to the main room.

SANKET'S POV:
There are a lot of people here, I didn't knew, they're walking and I don't know what to do so I follow them. Aghh we're back in that room which only has a single table. Uhm I'm proved wrong when they turn it on from under the table. I realise this a main room. I look at them they all seem normal but this one girl she's more shocked than I was when I got to knew I'm in America. "This is Tanzeel my lil brother, She's Ashi and you've met her already she's Aashna" Manav introduce the other three people to me and they smile at me I don't smile back, we are standing around the table which btw is also a Automatic device it's like a computer fixed on table.
"Are you really a Black swan" Manav's brother ask me and I look at him everyone is staring at me curiously I finally reply "Yeah, I'm". "Were you in a battle or something? What were you doing outside our house?" He ask me again and I tell them"I was sent here" "By who and Why?" Manav asks and I look at him answering his question "I don't know exactly but it has to be something related to the sword"
"The sword?" Aashna says and I ignore her.
"Someone has been looking for the sword and I was sent to check that out, so I did and there I was attacked by some other protectors I somehow made it to the my friends house and he friend portaled me here" I tell them and Manav replies "He portaled you?" "Oh yeah he's a Warlock" and I add "a thousand old I guess or more than that" Manav is thinking something and the other are completely blank. "Where exactly are you from?" Aashna ask me and I reply this time "Paris". She was saying again but we're interupt by the doorbell Tanzeel says "I'll check" and he walks out of the room. "Can I've something to eat pretty one" I ask looking at the girl who's really flustered she looks like she's lost, I don't know what's wrong with her but she's the only one who doesn't have questions for me and I forgot her name. "Yeah sure we haven't had any breakfast yet" she replies to me and looks at Manav. I look at both of them they're looking at each other and finally Manav says "uhm, yeah sure let's go" and they all walk out of the room and I follow them. As we were walking by the living room there's someone with Tanzeel and they're deeply talking about something and I guess that something is me because they stop when I stand with them. "This is Unnati" Tanzeel say to me while pointing his hand towards the girl "hey" I say to her. It's no use to tell me names I easily forget them specially girls. Manav walks into the kitchen and he yells "I think we should all go out or if anyone of you know how to cook then we can have something here" The girls are looking at each other and we're looking at them. "Let's go to Charlotte" Aashna says and Tanzeel is laughing ,Manav joins him after he walk back from the kitchen.
Tanzeel tells us "Let's meet here in 10 minutes" and he adds looking at the girls "aah is it enough for you girls or you need an hour" Unnati replies "very funny, I'm already ready"
Aashna says "I don't have clothes here so I'm just going go home and join and meet you guys at Charlotte"
Manav instantly says "You'll take forever for that, just ask her for something" he points at the pretty girl. "Okay fine" Aashna replies. The girls walk upstairs. I don't know what is it with the pretty girl but she's so quiet and confused. "You can wear something of mine, they'll fit you okay" Tanzeel say to me while looking at the oversized shirt I'm wearing "Yeah, I don't have any option here"
"Follow me" Tanzeel says and I follow him upstairs

15 minutes later, I'm wearing a black plain t-shirt and formal black pants.We're waiting in the hall for girls, I look at Manav and I ask him "Can we talk?" He replies "Yeah, go ahead"
"Actually, I need a favor. When I came her through the portal I didn't had anything on me, I lost my phone when I was fighting those men and I'd no idea I was going to cross a country" I say to him and he replies "Yeah and?"
He's so clueless and I'm feeling so fucking embarrassed to even ask him this
"Can you please contact someone in the Paris base, they all know him"
"Who?" He replies
"My friend, I mean the Warlock who sent me here" I say to him and he took a deep breath and say "I can't do that, I mean not yet"
"Aren't you the head?" I ask him and he replies "Yeah but I haven't take the oath yet so I don't have any access to the contacts"
I don't know  what I'm going to do now this is so uncomfortable I'm in someone's house, they saved my life, they're treating me like they know me or something. "But tomorrow is my ceremony so we can contact after that" Manav adds and I look at him "Thanks mate also can you lend me some money and can I live here till then?" I ask him, Christ why I just did that why why why I asked him to let me live here. "Yeah sure, even I've some questions for you" he replies.
Finally the girls walk towards and "FINALLY" comes out from my mouth automatically and Tanzeel chuckles.
