Yeonjun walked back into the kitchen from hanging up his coat, straightening his tie a bit as he moved closer. I had already began boiling the water in the kettle, surprisingly anxious for some tea. I'm not quite sure why I'm craving it, maybe my inner Britishness is seeping in. I was staring at the kettle, waiting for it to boil when I heard a chuckle come from behind me.

I turned my head, watching Yeonjun lean his back side against the countertop as he crossed his arms over his chest. He put his left leg over his right, "A watched pot never boils."

I giggled lightly, my dimples digging into each of my cheeks, "It boils eventually even if you watch it."

I turned back to the kettle, hearing Yeonjun chuckle again. It was quiet for a moment or two before Yeonjun blurted out, "You seem taller."

I scrunched my eyebrows, turning back to him with curiosity, "I've always been naturally taller than you, no?"

"Yes, yes..." He said, taking his hands away from his torso and grabbing the edge of the counter on either side of him, "You just seem more confident. The way you carry yourself is different."

I softly smiled, replying, "Really?"

He nodded, "Yes, darling."

My chest felt like it was floating again, weirdly feeling as though my life is complete. Maybe it's just because I've been so stressed about making the machine to break Enigma. Maybe it's because I have Yeonjun to support me every step of the way, and I know I'm never losing him again.

"So..." Yeonjun spoke again, shaking me out of my thoughts, "I guess I must purchase stilts in order to reach my boyfriend's newfound height... Or..." He said, smirking a bit right after. It's as though he thought of something on the spot, making me tilt my head in curiosity.

"Or...?" I asked, his eyes locking with mine. He was smiling still, slowly capturing his bottom lip between his teeth.

He stayed like that for a moment, building up the tension in the room before he added, "Or, he can get on his knees."

I was confused at first, but then my eyes went a little wide at the realization of what he said. I felt a smile forming on my lips, sheepish as I looked away from him; the heat rising to my cheeks. When I finally looked back, I was trying to hold back my smile, my stomach filling with butterflies as he gazed at me. He bit his bottom lip again, but he still had that sly smirk on his face as he raised an eyebrow to me; an invitation. It made me finally move my feet, almost like a magnetic force towards him.

His hands naturally fell to my waist once I was close enough, feeling him lightly pull me closer as I rested my hands on his chest. I didn't hesitate to lean forwards and kiss him. The heat instantly went to my chest, smiling into our gentle kiss. Yeonjun's hands started to slide down, going into the back pockets of my trousers. Even though I was expecting it, my breath lightly hitched against his lips when he squeezed.

I pulled away when I heard the kettle begin to scream. Yeonjun grunted as he pulled his hands out of my pockets, my cheeks heating up as I took a step back towards the stove. I quickly turned off the burner and poured the hot water into two mugs that I had prepared. I tensed when Yeonjun's hands fell onto my hips as I put the kettle back down, not even realizing that he had moved closer.

He slid his hands around my waist, resting them on my lower abdomen, dangerously close to the hem of my trousers. His chest pressed against my back, kissing my nape lightly. The kisses got more sensual, slow and warm against my exposed skin. My grip on the edge of the counter tightened as he pulled me closer, the entire front of his body firmly against the back of mine.

I was losing control, murdering my bottom lip with my teeth as he started sucking behind my ear. A small whimper left my mouth without warning, feeling Yeonjun's hand slowly slide down further. Two fingers were below the button of my trousers, but it wasn't low enough. I whined, "J-Just take me to your room already!"

I didn't mean for it to sound so eager, but I already knew he had a smirk growing on his face. I felt his breath against my ear as he whispered, "I thought you would never ask."

. . . . . . . . . .

Yeonjun wrapped his arm around my waist from behind, smiling as he shifted closer. He brought the blankets over us, forgetting about our tea downstairs at this point. He kissed my nape and whispered, "Are you alright?"

I held his hand, interlacing our fingers as I replied, "Better than just 'alright'."

He chuckled, "Good..." He simply said, pausing for a moment before asking, "Do you think we should ever tell them about us?"

I scrunched my eyebrows, "Who are you referring to?"

"Hugh, John, and Joan... Do you ever want to tell them? I hate sneaking around like this."

I rolled onto my back, turning my head to Yeonjun as I replied, "What would telling them do? We'll still have to be secretive."

He sighed, "At least we'll be able to be ourselves around a few people. A-And Jisung already knows."

"What if one of them decides to turn us in? We cannot be on the run. We have nowhere to go."

"At least ponder the idea?..." He pleaded, "Please, it's starting to drive me a bit crazy."

I brought my hand up, caressing his cheek as I replied, "I don't want you to get hurt, love."

"I promise, I'm never leaving. I'll protect you always..." Yeonjun turned his head and kissed my hand that was on his cheek, "The only people I want to tell are Hugh, John, and Joan."

I pursed my lips, "Can I think about it?"

Yeonjun nodded, "Of course..." He said, pulling me closer to him, "Will you five just keep deciphering messages and doing statistics until the war is over?"

I tucked a loose strand of hair behind his ear, "I'm not sure what more we could possibly do. We're already making great strides, yes?"

Yeonjun smiled, "We've won a battle already with your help."

I smiled back, "That's what we came here to do."

Yeonjun hesitated for a moment before picking his head up and giving me a kiss, whispering as he pulled away, "Love you."

He rested his head back down on the pillow, snuggling closer as I replied, "Love you more."
