"Will you... forgive me?"

IT HAD TAKEN SOME TIME TO BUCK UP enough courage to disobey her parents for the first time ever but finally here Dolores was on her way to Elliotts hoping to be let in. She wanted to apologize to Five but she felt as if her explanations and pleas would fall dead to his ears and so she decided she would just grab her journal and leave.

Climbing up the staircase that lead to the keel cave the man from her time lived in she couldn't help but feel a case of the Zorro's building up. She fiddled with her bracelet, one that she her father had given her for her birthday last year. It was simple but expensive. The golden pearls shone as it caught the sun rays bouncing off it.

The dame took a deep breath and knocked three times on the door, always three.

After a moment the door had opened to reveal a somewhat stressed Elliott. Upon seeing the teenager he smiled softly.
"Hey." He said. To which the girl replied with a wave and a ghost of a smile.

"May I come in?" She asked politely, although her voice was full of vulnerability and was low the brown haired man still heard her clearly.

"Oh uh." With that he opened the door, not knowing what to say to her.

Dolores made her way inside and the man noticed she didn't bounce when she walked and her steps weren't as light as they once were.

Dolores walked over the table where she had left her journal but she couldn't find it. 'shoot! Where is it? If I lose it daddy will be even more disappointed! I need to find it. Oh please let it be here.'

The girl inwardly prayed in hoped of finding the significant leatherback. "Elliott, have you seen my book, y'know its black with D.H engraved on the front?" She asked with an uncertain tone.

"Oh yes..I uh I moved it, it's in the kitchen next to the um the refrigerator." He motioned with his head slightly as he stirred something in a bowl. All the girl could say about it was that it didn't look pleasant.

"Oh thanks." She muttered lowly before dragging herself to the kitchen.

When she entered she saw Five drinking a cup of coffee, his back turned to her. She had hoped she could just tip toe around him without him acknowledging her and honestly she thought he wouldn't but as she grabbed her book he cleared his throat loudly.
