DOLORES TOOK MANY DEEP BREATHS IN attempt to calm her nerves. They didn't do her the justice she thought they would and so without wasting more time she made her way to the mahogany door and knocked as she had forgotten her key.
When Pogo opened it he gave the pale dame an apologetic look having not seen her since he ditched her at the factory.
"Dolor I'm sorry." He managed to get out."Don't worry about it pogo." She told her chimpanzee brother before enveloping him in a gentle hug. She nestled into his soft arms feeling a sense of comfort and safety. As Grace's voice echoed around the house the siblings pulled away.
"Dolores Jane Hernandez-Hargreeves!" The girls beautiful blonde mother came running down the stairs. The young broad thought the woman would yell at her and bust her chops for leaving but instead she was taken into the blondes arms. Tears began to involuntary spill out of the young ones amethyst blinkers.
"I was so worried!" Grace whispered to her child as she gently ran her hands through the mop of white hair.
"I'm sorry mama but I had to." The youth tried telling her mother not wanting there to be secrets between them. She wanted to tell her about the unique siblings she'd spent her time with and about Elliott and his quaint television store and most importantly how much her heart beated when she was with Five, the way she her mind seemed to calm and overall how with him she felt at home, safe, protected, he understood her better than anyone. It was simple. She loved him.
Though she couldn't speak a word to anyone, not even her mother."Look the most important thing is that you're alright doll." The Southern blonde claimed as she scanned her daughter for any sign of injury.
Grace wasn't impressed with the sudden rebellion of her daughter but nonetheless she was a teenager it was bound to happen. So if the girl returned safe and sound then as of right now it wouldn't be a problem. Besides her and Reginald had eyes all over the city.
"Where's daddy?" Dolores asked nervously. She was never afraid of the man but she knew it would be positively unbearable to look him in the eyes knowing she had let him down once again.
"He's in his office. I'd give him time to cool off doll. You get ready we're going somewhere later." The mother told her child. "Oh and when we get back you're grounded." She called before heading to the kitchen.
