Love. Nicki didn't quite understand it, she tried to but every time she got close to figuring out what it was, it always left her confuse on such controversial topic. She never heard it out of her father's mouth, even when she was younger and they wasn't the dysfunctional family they are today. She heard it a few times from her mother but it dawn on Nicki that her mother indeed had left her, that can't be love, right? If that was love then she wanted no part. If that was love then what is heartbreak? She can only imagine it being 10x worse than love because love is already painful as it is.
Nicki froze hearing those words escape her latest fling's mouth "I love you Nicki" Lauren tried saying again Incase Nicki didn't hear her the first time.
Nicki groan starting to get frustrated for whatever reason she didn't know yet "I heard you the first time Lauren!" She seethed with anger.
Nicki knew she was being a little bit over dramatic but in her eyes the meaning of love to her is not the meaning as everyone else has it to be.
"Why are you acting like this!" Lauren couldn't even dream to manage what was swirling inside of Nicki's head and she hated that she couldn't read Nicki like how Nicki can read her.
Nicki tried calming herself down but it was no use, her temper was now making a full display but she didn't want to scare Lauren that was the last thing that she wanted.
"Do you even know what love is Lauren? We're 18! We don't know what the fuck love is" Nicki tried getting her point across by waving her hands up and down as she talk.
Lauren roll her eyes knowing Nicki was just in denial, she knew deep down that Nicki believe in love "I know what love is and I know that I love you" Lauren always kept her cool in situations like this. She was a fond believer that arguing and screaming cannot get your point across, it will just leave both participants angry and in a frenzy.
"I'm trying my best not to be an asshole here, Lauren" Nicki towered over Lauren by if you can even say it 'an inch'. "Do you love me or do you love the way I fuck you?" Nicki grab Lauren waist pulling her body into her's.
Lauren didn't reply which Nicki took as an answer. She start kissing on Lauren's neck quickly finding her spot. She lick from Lauren's jawline to her shoulder making Lauren squirm.
"No!" Lauren took the most willpower to say.
She wanted Nicki but she didn't want Nicki to fuck her way out a difficult situation.
"I'm going home" Lauren says picking up her belongings off Nicki's bed. She felt like they was getting nowhere so before she said something that she might regret she decided to leave.
Onika pinch her nose feeling a headache coming on. She knew she was in the wrong but she would never openly say it.
"Do you want me to give you a ride home?" Onika wasn't a general asshole, only when it came to the love aspects of her life.
Lauren roll her eyes not bothering to give Nicki another glance "No, I want you to leave me the hell alone" she says.
Onika sigh knowing she was the reason behind her ex-fling attitude.
She walk Lauren out of her house before locking the door behind her. She felt another anxiety attack coming on. Everything in her life completely gone to shit.
