Why do bad things happen to good people? I tried not putting myself in the same category as someone that's good because someone that's good is someone that's pure and I'm far from being pure but I couldn't fit myself in the category of being a bad person, I've never stole, never killed and never cheated. Sure, I drink, smoke and swear like a sailor but that's only because I wanted to numb to pain. If I'm indeed a bad person then I have no one but life to blame.
I couldn't stay in the classroom and listen to Beyoncé tear me apart even more. I had absolutely no feelings but sexual feelings for her but it still pains me that she knows I lust for her yet she still chose to betray me.
Was it even betrayal if she owed me no loyalty?
I walk down the hallway ignoring all the teens' voices, I needed to get out of here but where can I go?
I hated not having a car, I couldn't just get up and leave like I used to. My driver won't be coming until school ends and I couldn't stay another minute in this place.
I turn my head to Ty whose walking down the hallway with a girl glued to his arm. Our eyes met and he immediately let the girl go before walking over to me.
"I know that look, what's wrong?" He asks standing in front of me.
"I need to get out of here" I told him honestly.
"Let's go" He says while he takes his keys out of his pocket.
I look at him like he's crazy "Don't you have classes to go?" I ask.
He nods. "I do but you look like you need a friend so let's go Nicki" He smiles shaking his keys in the air.
We begin to walk towards the school exit but a voice stops us from escaping. "Where do you guys think you're going?" A Stern voice says making us jump.
We turn around to see Wayne with a stupid grin on his face. "You stupid moron! I thought you were Mr. Williams" Ty says.
Wayne chuckles, "Where are you guys going?" he raised his eyebrows as he examined us.
I shrug. "There wasn't anywhere in mind, I just needed to get away for a bit" I told him.
He opens his mouth wide as if he's offended. "Y'all were going to ditch without telling me? Wow" Wayne starts walking towards us.
"You fat ass was gon weigh down my car that's why" Ty told him.
Wayne smacks his lips, "You still driving ya mama burst down corolla?"
Ty shot his head towards Wayne. "I know you not talking! My nigga you don't even have a car, you and your bitches be walking to your house so you can fuck them" Ty ended him. I let out a loud laugh; imagine walking to a nigga house to get fucked, damn.
Wayne rolls his eyes. "It wasn't even that deep" he mumbles out.
The three of us walk out the school then towards Ty's car. I get into the front seat while Wayne got into the back and Ty sat in the driver's seat.
"Where are we going?" Ty asks us.
I honestly didn't know. Where do you go when you want to free your mind?
"Lenny's!" Wayne chime in from the back.
Ty looks at me waiting for my response "Yea, we can go to Lenny's" I told him.
He nods before driving through New York's streets. The car ride was silent only thing that could've been heard is the low music playing and the squeaky noise coming from the car.
