Later that evening when I got home I figured I should call Lanie.
I changed my clothes and got comfy on the couch and called her. After the third ring, she answered.

📞Lanie, I wanted to call you back.

I hung up the phone and rubbed down my face. What in the actual fuck is going on there. I feel like I need to go get her but I know it would make it worse.
I called mom and told her I gave Lanie some money and she would be here this weekend but I didn't tell her the rest. That's Lanie's business to tell.
I put a frozen pizza in the oven and decided to text Trace to see if he's available to talk and he said lets video call.

I close the computer and get my pizza out of the oven and sit on the couch and eat while catching up on shows.
Around 11:30 I got up and put the rest of the pizza away and went took a shower. When the clock struck twelve I wished myself a happy birthday and got in bed when my phone beeped.
I thanked all of them and decided to get ready for the day. I made sure my makeup was perfect and I put on my favorite pair of jeans and an off-the-shoulder shirt.
I find my favorite shoes and pick up my phone and look again to see if any other messages from Trace because he should be getting on the plane soon.

I slip my phone in my pocket and walk down to Robins's apartment and knock on the door.
"Hey, are you ready to go?"
"Happy Birthday Morgan and yes I'm ready to go. I appreciate you inviting me and Sunny being ok with it." She smiled.
"Of course let's go. I mean I would double you if you weren't pregnant but you can just follow me." I said as we got on the elevator.
