I wanted a doll too. We could play dragon cave.
I took some clay and my little sister made puddles with it and I saw that hands were more practical for modeling than claws. We made chairs, tables and a bed. Strangely enough I knew what it was...
But I was learning the words with it.
Then we made a little dragon and a big dragon. We dipped them in black ash and cooked the whole thing.
We spent hours like that pretending. Then we played tresor. We made a chest with food and we had to find it in the cave.
Mom suddenly arrived with game and fruit and I opened the wings to hide the little one.
Mom: What are you doing talking for hours on end all by yourself? You look like a biped.
Oh, did you make all this? A little dragon is you and the big one is me?
It's well done. Me, with my big legs, it's impossible.
I would like you to teach me how to do it. Will you do that?
Psst, go hide in the cabin.
Say, are you hiding something in the back? It smells like game.
Come on, show me, just a piece for your mommy dearest!I'll do it:
Nope!
To me!
It's my treasure!Pfff. Hahahaha laughed mom: how funny you can be when you are like that!
So, tell me, have you adopted another animal?
Leave me alone mom. But I love you!Ah, I understood it's a surprise!
Yes, yes.
Then I took the fruit and we hid in the cabin.
Me: it was a close one.The next day, we played outside and we made traps, and bags to hunt.
We made one for mom and she was very happy to have an object made by her daughter for her and very useful.
She proudly showed off her leather bag and asked me where I had learned to make it. I said that I had modeled it after the broken arrow.
Then mom came by surprise behind my back: MMMhh you really smell like game...
She was trying to laugh.
Me: Hey, you already had your surprise! Let me play!Mom: Ok, I'll let you if you give mom a hug! You have no idea how much I love you, I couldn't live without you, honey. MMHHRm, come close to Mommy... Hug.
I was slobbery every day, borderline, my scales were shiny, but she must have suffered before and had to be loved by someone kind who instilled those values in her.
Mom was big, scary but proportionally sweet for such a terrible being.
I can't imagine her being angry, if her anger is like her heart.
Me: Say, Mom, have you ever been angry?
Mom: Yes, once, when my teacher died but she made me promise never to get angry again, so I follow her wishes.
Me: Can you tell me a little about her?
Mom: I have vague memories but I didn't understand anything at first with her and she spoke different languages every time. Then one day, she made signs, and I understood a little.
She had an object with pictures and drawings of dragons and bipeds. But each time these stories, I understood nothing but they made me sleep and I licked her to thank her for the lullaby.
You know, I'm not too smart and I'm sure that another dragon would have understood more easily.
What she taught me was pictures of poisonous plants and others to eat and to fly. When I was your age, she made me climb on a rock and jump in the water.
And she would imitate me, it was funny. I had a lot of fun with her.
That's why I learned never to hurt bipeds.
Then she showed me story boxes with lots of bipeds in them and I learned that bipeds often fight and that I should hide and beware of their thunder sticks.
But, your game, it reminds me of mistress.
Well, I leave you Obsi
And I went back to play with Maryse hidden in a crevice.
Sorry, Maryse, shall we go?
