Summary Serenity and Jaehyun belong to two different social circles in and out of school. Jaehyun is the school's heartthrob as well as star athlete who comes from a well off family that is kind to everyone, Serenity is a nerd who keeps to herself which makes her the victim of bullying at home she is neglected and abused by her family so much so that she is incredibly quiet. Both secretly like each other but have never acted on their crushes. When the two are assigned to do a project for music and dance something big occurs between them.

I was sitting in music class listening to the teacher. Paper was being thrown at me but I ignored it as the teacher begins to talk about something important
"Now as you know their will be a partner assignment that will be 50% of your grade, before you all start pairing off I have already decided on your partner"
I zone out as the teacher begins listing of the pairings I feel my eyes widen when I hear who I am paired with
"Serenity, Jaehyun you will be partners"
I can just feel the glares directed towards me. I begin to slowly back my bag just as the bell rings. I wait for everyone to leave before I stand up the teacher looks at me
"Serenity I know you would rather work alone but Jaehyun isn't doing well in this class, you are my best student" "They're going to make life difficult for me"
My teacher only sighs as I leave the room. It's lunch but I don't head to eat rather I go towards a more secluded music room. Entering I go to the piano and sit down. There are no lights on in the room which I'm fine with, I'm used to the darkness. Lifting the cover I gently begin to play. I don't hear the door open or close. I jump when a figure sits beside me
"You play beautifully"
I only shrug my shoulders
"You don't talk much do you" "Why are you here Jaehyun?"
I don't look at him as I play again
"Can we discuss the project?" "I'll do the work you can just put your name to it like everyone else" "What no I'm helping with work, we are sharing it"
