1. Plagarism Everytime Serenity releases a new song or album there will always be someone who would say that she plagarises the songs as well as music. Once someone tried to take Serenity to court over her song Prom Queen as they said that she stole the song from them and that they wrote the song based on their life, Serenity and RMentertainment had proof as well as evidence that the song was all Serenity. Rough drafts and instrumental was shown which was all dated from 2014.
2. Grammys/Scammys Even though Serenity had won two Grammys they were for English versions of her songs and even then it was only done because of her being famous. It was revealed to fans that her winning was rigged from the beginning as the Grammys wanted the Sirens to watch. Serenity wasn't nominated or even invited to the Grammys after winning. Antis were all saying how Serenity isn't has good as everyone thinks if the Grammys don't want her. Sirens didn't watch and boycotted the Grammys.
3. Xenophobia Growing up Serenity was always made fun of because of her being a foreigner as well as asian. Even in the entertainment she is always made the butt of a joke, once she was said she could drink well because she is Irish when she was 16. Serenity has been said that she is the cause of the pandemic and has faced insults being thrown at her when she is simply in public.
4. Death Threats Everday Serenity recieves death threats. These threats range from her being a celebrity to her dating Jaehyun. She had to cancel a concert because someone threatened to shoot her while she was performing. The worst threat was when a 'Shawol' said she should've died instead of Jonghyun.
5. Abuse Serenity was abused by her previous manager and her ex member Krystal. She is even abused by people on the internet, she has said that she reads what is written and posted about her. She has to deal with people constantly bringing up Krystal even though she has asked them to stop. Some people have even said to her to not leave Angel Sins even though she was abused and bullied by members.
