Jaehyun is the first to open his eyes in Taehyun’s lab
“It was successful”
Jaehyun slowly gets off the bed to move to Serenity
“She is going to breakdown seeing him”
“She deserves to cry, there are things those two need to discuss”
“The other four have woken up but haven’t seen Jonghyun yet, SHINee have kept him to themselves in his room”
“They deserve to”
Jaehyun touches Serenity’s cheek, he looks her in the eyes when they open. He helps her sit up
“Careful Serenity”
“You lied to me oppa”
“I know but-”
“No, I begged you after he died to bring him back but you said you couldn’t. You lied!”
Tears streamed from Serenity’s eyes as she looked at Taehyun
“You lied to my face and brought him back, never said who he was. We all thought he was just your new assistant”
“I-”
“Jagiya why don’t we go see him, I’m sure SHINee will let you steal him away”
Jaehyun gently wipes away Serenity’s tears
“He won’t want to see”
“I’m sure he does, he was your brother and hasn’t been able to say anything comforting to you”
Serenity nods before Jaehyun is helping her off the bed.
“Talk to the others hyung, they deserve to know the truth as well”
“Lies just hurt people”
The two leave Taehyun in his lab and head towards the bedrooms
Serenity’s P.O.V
Stopping at the door I just stare
“Jagiya”
“Maybe I shouldn’t, SHINee deserve every moment”
“You two both deserve this time”
I bite my lip and can’t fight my fear. Jaehyun just takes my hand and knocks on the door before opening it
“Jaehyun”
“Sorry hyungs but a certain someone wants to talk with Jonghyun hyung”
Looking around his arm I see SHINee share a look before all but Jonghyun stands up.
“It will be fine Jagiya”
Being left with Jonghyun I felt anxious
“Oppa”
He smiles softly to me which causes me to run into his arms crying. How long has it been since I could hug him? To see him? To talk to him?
"I know you didn't mean it"
A hand rests on my head
"You were just worried about me and I lashed out, using a low blow"
He hugs me tighter
"I wanted to clear everything up but it was to late"
"I already knew, you can never hate anyone"
The two of us just stay in his room hugging. It was the warm feeling of coming home after being away for so long.
"Did you listen to the trilogy songs?"
"Yes, you made me cry with your grief. But it warmed my heart"
"Don't leave me again"
"I won't I have to keep an eye on you and Taemin"
A laugh escapes my lips
"What can I say we're partners in crime"
Looking up at him I see the smile. He's here and I won't lose him again, he may never be able to reveal himself but I and those close to him, those in this house, will know.
