Plot Six friends, who have been friends from childhood, are seen as the ugly ones in high school. Each one is bullied and are seen as outcasts. Their bond with each other is strong and they stick with each other throughout everything. Students and Teachers don't expect much from them.
High School passes them and they separate from each other once they enter college. It seems that each follows a different path in life:
Yun Yoo-Mi who has always loved art and photography works as a model after dropping out of college, never telling any of her friends.
Kang Dong-Hyun attends college doing Sports Education playing on the college's basketball team, hoping to be scouted for a national team.
Kyon Il-Song who was always seen as the more wild one of the bunch is doing Graphic Design in college.
Mae Min-Sun was always writing, is doing English and Literature in college while working as an author, her books are popular amongst the public.
Yong Hyun-Woo is the energetic one of the group with a heart of gold. He has a strong love for children and is doing children studies hoping to work with children.
Kim Seung-Eun, a sweet and quiet girl, the youngest of the friend group, followed Yun Yoo-Mi and dropped out of college to become a model.
Only Yun Yoo-Mi and Kim Seung-Eun haven't kept in contact with the other four, mainly due to them not wanting to admit that they dropped out of college in fear of their friends ridiculing them. Each member had blossomed in near perfect appearance. They became more attractive than those they attended school with.
One day while Dong-Hyun, Il-Song, Min-Sun, Hyun-Woo were out in a restaurant having dinner when Il-Song noticed an advertisement for makeup but what drew his attention was the models. Smacking Hyun-Woo he got the whole group's attention and pointed at the Ad. The Ad was a poster for a new lip tint, the models were Yoo-mi and Seung-Eun. The four were shocked at seeing how much the two have changed. They plan on how to meet the two and learn just how much they changed.
Days later Min-Sun runs into Yoo-mi and Seung-Eun when they are entering a cafe at the same time as her. As if no time had passed they began to talk and have coffee together. Min-Sun brings up their crushes on Il-Song and Hyunwoo, Yoo-mi is quick to bring up Min-Sun's crush on Dong-Hyun. Min-Sun has plans to meet the guys later and extends an invitation to the two, sadly they have work later but are quick to invite them to join.
At the set of Yoo-Mi and Seung-Eun's photoshoot their friends are in awe. The photoshoot is about how bullying can affect people. As the photoshoot goes on it is clear that the theme is affecting Yoo-Mi and Seung-Eun. Once it is over and the six are together at the Han River they finally talk. Even though they went separate ways they are still friends. They are joking and messing around, having fun.
Hyun-Woo seeming to gain confidence asks to speak to Seung-Eun in privately, the two are teased by the others when they go off. Dong-Hyun realising what Hyun-Woo is doing drags Min-Sun off somewhere. Il-Song and Yoo-Mi are left alone. It is revealed that the guys have always liked the girls but have been scared to admit it. All confess to them at the same time, shocking the girls but shyly they admit their own crushes. Getting back together it is obvious what happened which makes them all laugh. As they sit talking there is a brief flashback to the six in the same place but they are younger.
The six share stories about their childhood until Dong-Hyun says out loud about 'how if those they went to school with they'd be shocked by how much they changed', Yoo-Mi responds that 'they'd think that they got plastuc surgery, not that they simply grew up. Beauty isn't only on the outside, it's on the inside as well.'
The six just enjoy their time together relishing in the new relationships and finding comfort in an old friendship.
