I remain running my fingers through Phil's hair, just as he starts stirring back awake.
A low groan escapes his lips, his eyes pressed together in pain as he tries to make sense of what's happening.
It's been quiet for the last few minutes. I haven't even heard the others next door; at least that's where I'm guessing Rat and Toad put them.

I glance down at Lion on the floor as stuffing surrounds him. I obviously feel a great amount a of pain seeing him led there, just because he's Phil's most prized possession and he cares so much for it.

Phil finally fully wakes up and blinks a few times, adjusting to the light from outside, although it is starting to get darker.

"Ah, my head." He whimpers, cupping the back of his neck and rubbing along his scalp. I smile weakly and press a gently kiss to his temple. His blue eyes glance up at me and his lips turn up. "You're okay." He whispers.

I nod and suck in my lips, staring back at the locked bedroom door.
I wonder what they're plotting out there, walking around our apartment, touching all our stuff and Lord forbid if they even eat our food!

I'm hoping that sooner or later we'll be saved again. But I know now that our friends are also in the same situation, which counts as very bad news for all of us. At least last time we new what Rat and Toads intentions were; they wanted to see us suffer.

Of course now i have no clue.

Are they going to kill us?
Torture us again?
Kidnap us for the second time and then kill us?
I hate not knowing, especially when it comes to wanting to protect Phil and my friends.

Phil suddenly gasps and makes an inhuman cry next to me, I quickly look to see if he's okay and he's staring wide eyed at the floor. At Lion.
Tears are already pricking in his eyes and before I know it he's off the bed and kneeing down with the remnants of the stuffed toy in his hands.

To anyone else it might seem stupid that he's crying over a stuffed animal; but Lion is special.

He's so special, certainly to Phil and to be honest if Phil had a choice between me or Lion, he would pick Lion. Which is absolutely adorable, if not the least bit offending.

I also get off the bed and sit cross legged beside Phil as he just stares at Lion. "Phil?"

He sniffs and places the stuffing down, his watery eyes looking up through his wet lashes. Even crying he looks beautiful.
I open my arms and he accepts them, holding tightly around my waist.

The door then unlocks and swings open, showing Rat, Toad and Kate.

Rat smirks at us and narrows his eyes on Phil in particular. My fists clench instinctively as I hold Phil tighter to me.
In Kate's hand I see a lighter. I shiver at the memories.

"What are you going to do? Burn us again? How original." I mutter, pure hatred falling with my words.
Phil trembles but looks around anyway, pulling slightly away from me as to see what's happening.

Kate hesitantly passes the lighter to Rat who then chucks it beside me. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion and watch as Toad smirks at my reaction.
"Oh no Daniel. We won't get our hands dirty this time." He says, licking his lips. I grimace at him with a scrunch of my nose.

With Toad and I there's always been a mutual hatred. I mean sure I hate Rat too but I think that if I had the choice I would easily kill Toad. After everything he's done.
Rat just seems to have a little bit more compassion; just a little.

Rat steps in front of Toad, making his compadre scowl at him.

I'm now pretty sure that Rats the overall leader which doesn't approve to Toad.
The more you know.
