The Passion of Connor

Kaya and Tommy ran over to the group of kids that standing around the tree. Tommy and Kaya went to talk to Principal Randall. Kaya was watching the kids.

"We need to talk before someone gets hurt," Tommy told Principal Randall.

"We'll talk. There is nothing you can say that'll make me change my mind but we'll have a chat," Principal Randall told Tommy, "Then we'll resume this tomorrow."

Then Principal Randall told the students to get out of there. Kaya sees students leave as she stays behind to make sure that no one is there then leaves but a little bit later she remembers that someone was left behind. So she went to check to see Devin tied up. Devin didn't see Kaya as he was busy looking over his shoulder to see what is going on. Kaya noticed that Devin was looking at someone so she hides and listen to see what is going on. Kaya covers her mouth when seeing Zeltrax taking something from the tree before looking at Devin.

"Tell the Power Rangers that Zeltrax has returned," Zeltrax told Devin.

"I would love to. But I don't know where they are. We've been looking forever," Devin tried to explain but Zeltrax won't listen and growled at Devin.

"Oh boy..." Kaya mumbled softly.

"Ok, right. Zeltrax, isn't it? How do you spell that?" Devin asked.

"Go!" Zeltrax snarled.

Devin got himself free from the rope and ran from the scene. Kaya looked surprised that Zeltrax was willing to let Devin go unharmed. Before she could leave, she noticed that Elsa arrived so she stays to listen more. Kaya gasped softly when saw how powerful Zeltrax was when he beats Elsa and turn the tree into a monster.

"This isn't good," Kaya mumbled and went to the Dino Lab

When arriving at the Dino Lab and told Tommy about what's happening, then Tommy's students came to the Dino Lab to tell Tommy. Tommy listen to both stories and sighed softly as he turn his chair around to face them.

"Zeltrax is back? How's that even possible?" Trent asked.

"What does he want with a tree?" Kaya asked.

"I can answer both those questions," Hayley spoke up and hit a button on the computer.

The screen brought up footage of bubbling water, and they all frowned. Kaya didn't like the look of that hole and knew it could be the bad news.

"The tree must be growing over a life-force spring," Hayley explained.

"A fountain of youth?" Ethan gasped.

"Those are real?" Connor was amazed.

"Apparently, this one is," Tommy nodded.

"That's what kept the tree alive?" Kira asked in realized.

"Not just only that, the sap, being nourished for years by the spring's waters, must have amazing powers of its own," Hayley told them, worried.

"That's what Zeltrax is after," Trent realized.

"He won't be the only one," Kaya said, thinking about Mesogog who wants it too.

A few minutes later, Kira and Kaya spotted the screen change to show the girl walk up to where the tree had been. Connor immediately ran off, and after glancing at the others, Tommy and Kaya ran after him.

"You ok?" Tommy asked.

"I don't know," Connor replied, "Sometimes I wonder if I'm cut out for this superhero stuff."

"Still have doubts?" Tommy asked.

"When you see someone like Kirsta who believes so strongly in what she's doing, that nothing can stop her, I don't know if I have that in me," Connor explained.
