Marinette POV
It's been three years since I lost Adrien. A lot has changed since then, but a lot has also stayed the same. Since Hawkmoth is gone there was no need to keep my identity a secret anymore. I told my parents about everything that happened as soon as I got home from the Agreste's house that day. Word spread quickly after the news found out about everything. It took me a long time to get back onto my feet after what happened. To he honest I still struggle daily, but I have people who I can talk to now. Alya and I made up after a few days of me ignoring her and the rest of my class was quick to apologize for how they treated me, even Lila.
We all graduated a few months ago, and Alya and I got into the same college! She keeps trying to hook me up with guys she meets but I'm not ready for that, I'm not sure I ever will be.
"My love, I know that what you did was the right thing to do, but I miss you every day. You promised me it would be us against the world, but I'm the only one still standing.
I am leaving tomorrow to go move into my college dorm, it is an hour away from here so I won't be able to see you every day. I promise I will come visit you every weekend, and I will wear your lucky charm every day." I kiss the statue of Cat on the cheek.
"Goodbye for now, my prince."
I say before turning around and making my way back home.
