History/Quick backstory: Alex is the daughter of a powerful demon and a human mother. Their children are all warlocks, immortal beings who can do magic. But Alex also has the rare 'Metamorphmagus' ability, meaning she can change her physical features whenever she wants. They have lived for decades, moving frequently to avoid too many questions. Eventually Alex split from her family and adopted a cat she named Jinx. The two live in an apartment in Manhattan together. Alex is close friends with some of the other warlocks in the area, namely Magnus Bane, Catarina Loss and Ragnor Fell. Alex occasionally works with Shadowhunters, but normally she can be found helping her friends as well as other Downworlders. When she isn't working she'll be found either in her apartment or at a New York club called Pandemonium.
