Dawn
I sat down in the chair and started to eat my breakfast. I could hear Dad trying to get Dallas and Johnny in the bath right now. I could hear the twins yelling at Dad protesting on not taking a bath.
I'm eleven years older then Dallas and Johnny. I still remember this one time when I was twelve years old and the twins were two years old. I kept on getting them mixed up since they're identical twins, so I got a Sharpie and wrote their names on there foreheads.
I remember Dad getting mad at me, and that's the only time he's ever got mad at me. The reason he got mad at me was not just because I wrote their names on their foreheads, it's because I put the wrong name on the wrong twin. So for about one week, they thought they were each other.
I started to laugh out loud to that memory. That's when I really started to bond with the twins.
"Hey Dawn!" I heard someone yell. I looked behind me and saw Dallas and Johnny standing behind me butt naked. I laughed again.
"What the heck do you guys think you're doin'?" I asked. They looked at each other and started to giggle.
"Trickin' Daddy." Johnny replied. I rolled my eyes and started to laugh.
"Okay, let's see what he's doin' up there." I got off of the chair and grabbed Dallas and Johnny's hand. We started to make our way up the stairs. Once we got to the top, we rounded the corner and walked into the bathroom.
"Twelve, thirteen, fourteen...." I heard Dad counting. I looked inside the bathroom and saw Dad sitting on the toilet closing his eyes. "Seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty! You guys better be in that bath!" Dad yelled. He opened his eyes and saw me with Dallas and Johnny.
"Dad... Did five year old twins just trick you?" I asked. He smiled in guilt.
"Maybe..." He replied. I started to laugh and walked more into the bathroom.
"I got the baths, you worry about gettin' ready." I ordered. Dad got up from the toilet and nodded.
"Yes m'am."
