Austin

Where am I?

"Don't worry, Austin. You're fine." I heard a girl say sweetly. I stood up.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"I can't tell you now. But I saw you were in stress, so I want to help you."

"Stress, what stress?" I asked. "And why can't I see you?"

"You want to see me?" The girl asked.

"Yeah." I replied. All of a sudden, out of the shadow, a girl came out. She looked to be about my age. She is beautiful.

"What's your name?" I asked. She smiled.

"No time. All I need you to do, is wake up." She explained.

"What?" I asked.

"Come on, Austin, wake up. Wake up!"

I jumped and open my eyes. I saw Mom reaching over the seat, shaking my shoulder, staring at me. "Austin, baby, are you okay? You look like you're under a lot of stress." Mom said. I shot her a confused look.

"Stressed?" I asked.

"Yeah. Are you okay?" I asked. I nodded and sat up more.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Mom smiled.

"Okay, good. We're in Oklahoma." Mom stated sweetly. I smiled.

"Really?" I asked. Mom nodded.

"Yep. And it's your turn to drive, so when we get to the nearest gas station, I'll switch with you." Dad cheered. I laughed and nodded.

"Alright."

Dawn

"And there was that one time when I was on stage and that guy threw a water bottle at me. But now he is kicked out of the place for a long time." Mr. Matthews told us. Daisy rolled her eyes.

"Dad, you told us this story already." Daisy sighed. Mr. Matthews started laugh.

"Have I? I'm sorry. I just love tellin' my story's."

"Tell us more about Oklahoma when you lived there." Daisy said.

"Oklahoma. 1966." Mr. Matthews sighed. "It was a great time. It was nothin' like today, but man, was it a great time to live."
