Austin
"Wake up Austin. Come on, wake up." I started to wake up. I opened my eyes and saw Mom.
"Hi Mom." I yawned. I sat up. "What time is it?"
"Four in the mornin'. The plane takes off at six." Mom replied.
"Okay, I'll get ready."
"Okay. I'll call you down when breakfast is ready." She got up and left. I got up too and took off my shirt and changed into a better shirt and jeans. I was already packed up. I put my shoes on and combed my hair real quick. I ran down stairs and to the living room. I saw Dad, on the brown chair that we have had for ages. He was smoking, reading the news paper.
"Dad?" I asked. I asked. He looked up.
"Yeah Austin?" He asked. I went over to the couch and sat across from him.
"Who are your friends names? That we are gonna meet? Who are my uncles and aunts and cousins?" I asked.
"Well, you have two uncles, Sodapop and Darry. The order from oldest to youngest is from Darry, then Sodapop, then me. Sodapop is the greatest uncle you'll ever have, on my side of the family.
He has two daughters, uh, what's their names, oh, Sandy and Ocean. And Darry, he has a son and a daughter. His son's name is Bryan, and his daughter's name is Angel. Very nice kids. Angel is nineteen and and Bryan is seventeen." Dad said. I nodded.
