Violet thought it was better to stay in the little house with Justin, rather than roam the streets without knowing if she'd get home safely. So she decided to sit against the front door, while Justin leaned against the counter, scrolling through his phone and sipping off a beer. “Why did we come here?” Violet asked. “Because I'm pretty sure you didn't bring me here to sit around and drown yourself in beer.”

She could tell he just rolled his eyes, even in the dark. “I was hoping we could have a little fun, but you're too uptight. So I'm drinking all these beers by myself.”

“And by have a little fun, you mean get drunk, right?” Violet asked, trying to reassure herself.

Justin grinned. “Sure, kitten. Unless, something else is on your mind.”

“Gross.”

“Not gross . . . Anyways, so this  twenty-four pack of beers is gonna be consumed by me, and once I'm finished, I'll probably be drunk as fuck. Just remember, I'm driving you home.”

Violet groaned. “So basically you're saying if I don't help you drink those beers, we're just gonna end up in a ditch on the side of the road?”

“Or dead . . . but yeah,” he shrugged.

Violet stood from the hard, butt-hurting floor and neared Justin. “Hand me one, asshole.”

Justin tossed her a beer and smirked. “You're completely ridiculous. I just wanna go home.”

“Then let's go . . . I just wanted to see if you'd actually drink it. Maybe you're not so uptight after all,” he chuckled.

Violet groaned. He was absolutely, positively, infuriatingly hot . . . But such an asshole.

“Heard that,” he murmured grabbing his keys.

“I'm glad you used your listening skills this time because you don't seem to be using them when I say anything important,” Violet spat, trudging out the screen door. She became really angry at him and for a split second, she didn't understand why.

Oh wait, he's completely ignorant and rude, that's why. Insults were all she could think about. She didn't even notice him climb into the truck. “If you keep scowling like that, you're gonna get wrinkles,” Justin said, sticking his keys in the ignition.

Violet snapped back into reality. “Whatever. I've got bigger things to think about rather than wrinkles.”

“Just tryna look out for you. Nobody wants to fuck a girl with wrinkles,” he chuckled, stopping at a red light.

Violet about had it with Justin. No way was she ever going fall into his presence again. “You're so vulgar! Do you ever just shut up?”

“You fucking piss me off . . .” He mumbled.

“Good. I wish you'd learn to--“

“You shouldn't piss me off while I'm driving!” He shouted with a hint of amusement in his voice.

Violet reached out to hit him, but he stopped her. “I'll kick your ass if you hit me,” he said in all seriousness. “But I won't. You'd enjoy it too much,” he winked.

This time when Justin dropped Violet off, he actually walked her to the door. “Thanks for nothing,” she muttered, about to walk inside her house.

“What? No goodbye kiss?” He smirked.

Violet rolled her eyes. “Goodbye is right. Because I seriously don't want to see you again. You scare the shit out of me, you make me so angry, and you don't have any respect for me. If you want a kiss, you can kiss my ass, bastard,” she whispered harshly.

Justin stood there, not looking the slightest bit shocked . . . which pissed Violet off even more. “Is that all?”

Violet furrowed her eyebrows. “Yeah, now bye. Leave.”

“Hold up,” he said, grabbing her arm. “I think that yeah, all of what you said may be true, but what you should really be thinking about is how fucking wet you are,” he smirked.

And he was right. Violet was thinking about how wet she was . . . because it was raining and she was freezing cold. “Get inside. You're soaked. I'll see you tomorrow, kitten,” he whispered, thumbing her chin softly.

Damn him.
