Violet was concerned about Justin. All he'd ever done was worry about everything that had happened, when really she just wanted to forget about it. She wanted him to be stress-free because that was when he was his normal self, he was calm. Justin wanted to make sure Violet was okay though. He wouldn't forgive himself at all for what he'd done. How could he? He saw himself as a strong, powerful guy, why couldn't he protect a single person? That person being his own girlfriend.

"I always fuck up somehow," he whispered to himself. He sat alone at the edge of his bathtub, Violet nervously pacing in the hallway behind the locked and closed door. His thoughts pondered on physically beating the shit out of the wall, but he couldn't. Not with Violet right outside the door. It's been weeks and still, Justin was sulking.

"Justin, can you please let me in?" She whispered, leaning into the door. She felt useless. She was there and wasn't able to do anything to help him. "I want to make sure you're okay . . . Just let me in."

However she said it, she'd finally gotten through to him and he opened the door and blankly stared at her. She smiled. God, he loved that smile. "You don't need to worry about me anymore, Justin. My parents do enough of that." She placed her hands on his shoulders and looked up at him. "I'm finally eighteen, I can do what I want, and I'm graduating soon. I'll be able to devote my time to you, and make sure you're always happy." He fought a smile that formed on his face and chuckled.

"I'm a grown man. I'm pretty sure I can take care of myself," he teased. His hands wrapped around her waist and he squeezed.

"Yeah, but what else am I to do? My parents have basically disowned me because I never come home. They think I've ran away to be some slut. Max constantly texts me, telling me to come home, but I just can't. I feel safe with you. I feel happy. They can't control what I do anymore." Justin rolled his eyes. He knew she was being ridiculous and it was all his fault. He never realized how much of an influence he was on her.

"I can't lie. You talking all rebellious and shit does kind of turn me on," he laughed, pushing her against the wall. She just pushed him away and pursed her lips. "Besides, aren't you leaving me for college?" He smirked.

She bit her lip. "I don't know if I want that now," she whispered. "Not right this second anyway. I want to enjoy spending time with you. Not that I'll never go to college, but you're more important to me right now. I have my whole life to go to college."

Justin sighed, "Who would have known my life was gonna turn into a shitty dramatic movie?" He awaited Violet's reaction, which was a sharp slap to the arm and he chuckled. "I'm kidding."

"I'm sure you are," she said, squinting her eyes. Her expression softened and she smiled. "Do you wanna . . . maybe . . . go-"

"Spit it out, Vi," Justin groaned.

She rolled her eyes. "A date."

"A date?" Justin asked like the word was foreign to him. "You mean do shit normal couples do?" He humorlessly laughed, reaching for the doorknob to exit the tiny bathroom. "Sorry, babe. I love you, but-"

"But what?" She quipped smartly. He stopped in his tracks and huffed. "Yeah, that's what I thought . . . The date doesn't have to be like a dinner, or a movie or anything, if you don't want it to be. It can be us going to laser tag, or go-karting, something fun."

"That sounds like a load of bratty kids and wasted money," he shrugged, turning to face her and lean against the door. Violet frowned, thinking of something he would like.

"Don't you want to have kids some day, though?" She asked, hopeful.

He thought for a moment, but shook his head. "I don't think that'd be the best idea for me. I have a bad temper."
