CHAPTER 4

INFIRMARY – JIMIN POV

I don't know why I am here now because the pain disappeared the instant Jungkook picked me up. I was surprised by his actions and the fact that he even cared but wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth if it would get rid of that pain.

I clung to him like my life depended on it and was happy when he didn't complain. That ever-present heat from his body was addicting and I couldn't help but want to nuzzle into the pleasure that it drove through my body.

I was happy he was carrying me like a princess, so it hid what was happening in my pants, but I could also feel that my closeness was affecting him the same way. If I had been on his back, there was no way he would not have noticed the effects of that heat he gives off. I was almost asleep, tired from all the excitement that the static and his body gave me, by the time we reached the infirmary.

Doctor: 'What have we here.'

Jungkook: 'Remember what I said earlier? This is Prince Jimin, my husband. He is new to the castle and was sick earlier before our wedding ceremony and again tonight at dinner. Some sort of stomach pains?'

Doctor: 'Really?'

Jungkook: 'Jimin, this is Doctor Evi. This is just a quick check up.'

The Doctor looked at us, I was pretty sure he could see that both of us were turned on, but there wasn't much we could do about that now. Jungkook let me slide to the floor, my whole body was in contact with his and I had to bite my lip to stop from letting a groan escape.

I looked at the Doctor with embarrassment and fear. I was never happy to see doctors and this guy was no exception. The white lab coat did little to hide the scar on his left cheek that ran down his face and came out the hand on the left. Were they connected? If so, that must have been quite the accident or incident.

There were many rumors of violence and attacks in this kingdom, so I quickly looked away assuming the doctor had somehow gotten caught up in it while trying to help.

Evi: 'Let's do a quick check.'

Jungkook quickly turned and went on the other side of the room as the doctor pulled the curtain. The checkup was the typical run of the mill check and I was left to get changed back into my clothes.

Evi: 'Let me step out and talk with Prince Jungkook a moment.'

I nod. Not certain why it I couldn't hear the results, but I figured they would discuss it with me after.

JUNGKOOK'S POV

The Doc and I step outside the door. The look on the doctor's face wasn't what I was expecting, a small grin, something quite uncommon for our serious and dedicated physician.

Evi: 'It's simple. He hasn't shifted yet so his wolf isn't stable. He just needs to learn how to shift and be in contact with it soon. He and the wolf are feeling rejected, which is tearing them up, literally.'

I was confused. How is this something to smile over. 'And this makes you happy?'

Evi shook his head. 'Not happy, just elated that it is a simple fix. He just needs to become one with his wolf and know he isn't being rejected by their person of choice.'

'Person of choice...is it possible to have two mates?'

Evi looked shocked. Again I was realizing that there was something wrong with this setup I had, but I couldn't deny that I have the currents with both of them. I already proclaimed Soomin our mate, how can I take another?
