CHAPTER 27

GARDEN – JIMIN POV

I look up and see the black wolf with two different colored eyes...Jiwoon. Behind him a smaller wolf trots up and I recognize Claire.

'Hi.'

At my side, Jungkook is looking at them then sits up.

Jungkook: 'Hi you two.'

They shift and dress into the clothes they had been carrying.

Jiwoon: 'I see you are back to your daily habit. We thought we would tempt fate and see if you were here and check in.'

'I am fine. Have you recovered from the Fae bindings yet?'

I roll my shoulders. 'I am still stiff from the energy taken from the bindings, but it is Skye that took the most damage and I haven't shifted yet.'

Jiwoon: 'This is my first shift since then. You will feel it when you do.'

I nod. 'Nothing wrong with the water magics. It's all back to one hundred percent. I guess we are more susceptible to fire than electricity.'

Jiwoon: 'Good to know.'

'I wanted to talk with you, Claire. It is about Hwan...'

Claire gasped, assuming the worse. 'She isn't!! I should have come sooner!'

'No, sweetie. Come here.'

Claire ran to me and I hugged her tight, allowing some of my energy out to give her strength. In wolf world she is a delta in rank and quite weak one at that. My energy would help her.

'I was able to pardon her, as the Luna.'

Claire: 'Really! Oh that is wonderful, Luna!'

I cuddle her. Claire, Faith and Hwan were my first friends at the palace. I would do anything to protect them.

'She is freed from the cages and upstairs in her rooms with Faith watching over her. I just let her know that you are here. You can go spend time with her, correct?'

I said that as I looked at Jiwoon from the side of my eye. I could tell they had not mated fully yet, but it seems like they are connected the way Jungkook and I were before we fully bonded.

Claire: 'Oh yes!'

Jungkook: 'I want to see her too, so lets go together?'

Jungkook tucked her hand under his arm and started to lead her away. I could feel the jealously emanating from Jiwoon, but I stepped between them.

'She is fine.'

Jiwoon stared into my eyes and instantly backed down. He watched them leave over my shoulder but kept shifting his gaze to my eyes, unsure what to expect.

'Sit down.'

I had always been forceful with him somewhat and lately I have been wanting to be more so. He sat on the bench I indicated and I sat next to him. I was comfortable so released Skye to let him play. He would help watch the area and keep us safe from prying eyes.

'So...you want to tempt the fates?'

Jiwoon: 'Humm?'

'Claire. You think she will survive the mating bond or will she be like our father?'

Jiwoon looked off into the distance, watching Skye scouting the area. 'You did it.'

'Jiwoon! I thought I would lose my powers. I had no idea it might kill Kookie or I would have gone into it with a different mindset.'
