TWO DAYS LATER - JIMIN POV

It was uneventful the next couple of days. I spent my mornings meeting with members of the pack, mainly my new friends Lizy and LC, to learn more about being a werewolf and life in the pack. It still surprised me that I had people I could call 'friends' and was enjoying the new changes.

Lizy: 'So a quick question... this is personal so you don't have to answer, but how is it with the Alpha?'

'It?' I wasn't quite sure what she was asking, especially with all that had happened recently, but I was thinking it might have something to do with the fact that I had not seen him in a couple of days now.

Lizy: 'Marriage and...your relationship. He is a unique one, our Alpha.'

LC nodded. 'He is stunning, but also lives up to his reputation of being difficult to get along with.'

I blushed, thinking back to our shared kiss and Skye's reaction to being intimate with Jungkook. 'Yes, he is stunning...' Both of them got excited and happy with that confession. My cheeks burned with the words myself. It was always hard to not say the truth when directly like that.

Lizy: 'And the marriage?'

I looked at her and sighed. 'It's a bit confusing? I am not sure what is going on. He is grumpy but then is protective at the same time. The more I learn about pack life, the more I think that natural wolf protective nature plays into that...I'm not sure.'

I shrug. Either way, life here and with Jungkook is one hundred thousand times better than my old home. I stretch. My body and soul seem to be feeling pretty bad these days and I wonder if it had anything to do with bringing forth Skye. I have done it at least once a day since that first time.

It is something that brings me peace. Skye is a friend and a companion that is part of me. I already can't imagine life without him and have only been talking with him under a week.

LC: 'Either way, you are a lucky wolf.'

I nodded and smiled, not looking up. I could feel both of their eyes on me and hear Lizy snicker. I quickly changed the subject.

In the afternoons, I was spending my time in the gardens. I worked in the soil and helped tend to the plants and flowers, something I always wanted to do but was never allowed at my old home. I was planting new Sweetpeas along the edge of the east gardens and saw that they were wilting from sitting out in the sun too long.

Skye: 'They really are feeling the effects of this heat.'

Jimin: 'Yes, poor things.'

The sweat was rolling down my back as well. Inside I imagined a cool dip in a silver lake and blew across the potted plant in my hand, trying to share that cooling sensation with the wilted blossoms. It instantly perked up, like I had given it a small drink of water.

Skye: 'That was brilliant, Jimin!'

"How did you do that!' It was a sudden question that had me jump. I had not heard footsteps, so did not know anyone was nearby. I looked up and saw a small wolf sitting in the shade, a reddish coat like a fox and lovely golden eyes.

'I don't know.' I looked back at the plant in my hand and answered truthfully. 'Who are you and why are you hiding?'

The small wolf looked down and hung its head. 'I was asked to do some chores so came out here first and was awed by seeing you, Prince Jimin.'

'Hani!' A husky male voice rang out in the gardens. 'Where are you? I am not asking you to run those errands again.'

The wolf in front of me looked at the voice, obviously they were the subject of the search. I couldn't help but laugh at the little wolf's predicament.
