Aishi's POV
"I can't believe it..." Wala sa sarili kong sambit, habang natulala sa taong nakatayo sa harapan ko.
"Ako rin..." Kagaya ko, hindi rin makapaniwala si Jayce. He whispers as he also stared at that person.
Napabuntong hininga ako, hindi parin maalis sa isip ko ang nangyari.
"Get a grip, both of you. And here I thought that you'll be happy because we got what we wanted." Layleson said in his most calm voice ever, which shouldn't make sense... after that provocation that he did!
"What the---?!, are you kidding me?! Paano kami matutuwa sa ginawa mo kanina?! Kung hindi ka pinagpala ng tadhana, hindi ka na humihinga kasama namin!" Inis akong sinigawan siya.
"Tama siya, Layle. Paano pag sinunod nila ang sinabi mo?"
"They won't do that." Confidently, he replied to us.
"Don't be so full of yourself, Mr. Law. Not all time the odds are on your side." I crossed my arms while saying that.
"Get over it, Ms. Terunia. Then let me ask you, what would you do if you were in my position? Hmm?" Lumapit siya sa aking mukha habang matilim na nakatingin sa aking mata. "I bet hindi mo ma-convince ang mastermind kagaya ng ginawa ko."
"Yeah! Just trust Layleson, Aishi. He knows what he's doing." Inakbayan niya si Layleson habang nakangiti. Inirapan naman ni Layleson si Jayce.
"Which side are you really?" Tinanong ko ng malumnay si Jayce.
"And besides... Layleson is confident in his detective work!" Dumagdag pa si Jayce.
Magsasalita pa sana ako, pero biglang nagulat si Layleson at nag iba ang expresyon ng mukha na siya.
"Tsk." With such a disgusted face, he removed Jayce's hand around his shoulder and turned his back on us. Several seconds had passed and nobody said a thing.
"Layleson----?" Right when Jayce wanted to break the silence, Layleson cut him off.
"Let's tend our wounds." I got the chills when he said that. Jeez, what's wrong with him? Bakit naiinis na naman siya...?
Nagsimula na siyang lumakad papalayo at iniwan kami. His voice got scary, I'm not even kidding.
"H-halika na, Aishi. Wag kang matakot nun." Pilit na ngumiti si Jayce.
"Y-yeah..."
Oh crap. I can't move my freaking body! Nakasandal ako sa pader, at dahil sa mga sugat naging manhid ang mga paa ko.
"What's wrong...?" Nagalalang tumingin si Jayce sa akin.
"I-I can't move my feet... This sucks..."
"Ano?! Oh, right! You sprained your ankle...!" Nilahad niya ang balikat niya. "Here."
"Pero...! May sugat ka sa likod!"
Hindi siya nakinig sa akin, kinuha niya ang kamay ko at inaalalayan akong tumayo at lumakad. He placed my arm on his shoulder while his arm was securing my waist, baka kasi ma-out balance ako. At dahan-dahan kaming sumunod kay Layleson.
Napaaray ako ng konti, at sobrang sakit ang naiidudulot nito. Nakita ko rin sa mukha ni Jayce na tinatago niya ang sakit, at iniwas ko ang tingin ko. I felt guilty for some reason.
"Gusto sana kita buhatin na pang-bridal style, kaso baka may boyfriend ka na. Baka magseselos yun." Tumawa siya kaya napangisi naman ako. He still wanted to lighten up the mood.
