CHAPTER 14: THAT BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE

Aishi's POV

"In this girls dorm building, you'll be staying in this room."

Ms. Leona opened the door to me and it revealed a huge room fitting for... uh... "Ms. Leona... There's only 3 beds, and it's already occupied."

"Hahahahaha! I mean, kasalanan ba namin kung hindi ka naka-attend sa pag-didistribute ng rooms namin?" Grabe ha? Ang laki-laki ng lugar na ito kahit matutuloyan ko man lang, wala silang maii-reserve?

Pumasok kami at sa room, maluwag-luwag siya para sa tatlong tao. May nakita din akong mga sofa sa unahan at may tv din, duon nila napansin na may pumasok sa kwarto nila.

"Oh! Ms. Leona? Naparito po kayo?" Tumayo ang isa sa mga babaeng nanonood. "Hello!" She waved as soon as she noticed me. Of course I smiled and waved back.

"Mu-mukhang may bagong... r-roommate tayo." Nahihiyang sambit nung isa, hindi siya tumayo at mukhang ayaw tumingin sa mga mata ko.

"That's nice. The more the merrier!" Ngumiti yung nasa tabi ng nahihiyang babae at pinilit siyang tumayo. "C'mon, don't be shy!"

"Ms. Leona, pero nasaan po yung higaan niya?" Tanong nung pinaka-unang bumati sa amin. Nagulat siya at sumigaw ng... "Sa sahig po siya matutulog!? Grabe naman ho kayo!"

"*sigh* She'll stay here from now on, at least for the time being. The staff are discussing that all of the students will be having their own rooms according to their level... Anyways, please welcome her with such open arms." She scoffs and looks at me. "I mean... Kasalanan naman niya kung bakit naubosan siya ng pwesto. Pffft---! Look at her! She doesn't even have a freaking bed, poor thing." She's definitely making fun of me. Hayst, just ignore it, Aishi.

"I-it's not good to ri-ridicule... s-someone..."

"Tama siya! Okay lang yan, kumuha tayo sa warehouse ng brand new bed para sa kanya."

"*giggle* I'll be sure to help."

I can't help but smile, I can't believe that they are trying to help me. Kahit ngayon lang nila ako nakilala, kahit nasa ganitong lugar kami ngayon na possible kaming pagtataksilan. They're still showing kindness, and not giving in to despair. To be honest, I didn't have that much friends on the outside world. So it's new to me.

"T-thank you..." I got shy when I said that.

"Tch. This is lame." Ms. Leona said in a disappointed tone and walked away to the door. But before leaving she said something. "Well, goodluck carrying the bed here. Enjoy~"

"Just ignore her. Don't be sad, okay? Tutulongan ka namin." Ngumiti ng matamis ang babaeng may paint brush sa kamay niya. "Let's introduce ourselves, shall we?" Bigla niyang tinago ang brush sa bulsa niya. "My name is Odette Allard. Please excuse the paint, that's already dry." Tumawa siya ng mahina at nilahad ang kamay niya----which is full of different colored paint. Tinanggap ko naman at nag-shake hands kami. Hinila naman niya yung nahihiyang babae kanina at inakbayan. "Ito naman si Phoebe Allard, she's my twin. Pag-pasensyahan mo na, mahiyain talaga tong kapatid ko." She giggled again.

"U-uh... M-my name is Phoebe... Nice to meet you..." She's flustered so she's not looking at me at all. Now that's cute.

"Ako naman!" Siya yung unang nakakita sa akin. "Ako si Kylie Gonzalez! Sobrang saya ko kasi may ibang roommate na kami, hehehe! Ano ang fav mong pagkain? Donuts ba? Donuts!?" Woahhh, Kylie is really full of energy. Mukhang sa mga galaw niya, masasabi kong athletic sya. "At wag kang mag-alala about sa kama mo, kayang-kaya ko yan! Just leave it to me!" She's really the most energetic girl I've met.
