Sobbing

Continuous sobbing non-stop

Her body shook
She trembled
She could hardly breath

She could feel the taste of blood in her tears.

Her son was gone he was truly gone he had not returned.

It had been two days since Zed died. Word had been sent to the kingdom that the king was dead.

His sons were already fighting for the throne.

Zed's mother had cried nonstop she had drastically reduced weight from not eating and her throat craved water but she refused to move from that spot till her son returned.

"Get up" she heard a familiar stern voice which she ignored.

"You look disgusting get up, clean your self and have some water" he told her but it was as if she was dead. This man had killed her beloved son and the father of her son right in front of her on the same day.

She could finally feel his cold aura and wondered why she ever married a demon.

"Vivian" He called her name but it was like her soul was lost.

Soon she felt cold water drenching her. She shuddered and screamed coming back into reality and finally moving her eyes which were completely red from tears she turned to see the insane man that had taken away every ounce of joy she had.

"I won't hesitate to do it again clean yourself up and wait for me I'll be back tonight and stop weeping your son is not dead" Erik said then disappeared.

She felt a touch that made her shiver and she immediately woke up looking at the man in front of her he was stunned. He had not opened his eyes but his shirt had been removed in order to let air flow. She couldn't take her eyes off his perfect body.

She felt the touch again and looked down. Zed was trying to move his fingers, she smiled with the joy she had been waiting for the past two days for him to wake up.

He finally opened his eyes and they were cold-blooded red. Gwen shrieked and moved back she had never seen such eyes on any demon except vampires.

"Where is my mother?" He asked the voice sent chills down her spine it was confident, dominating and at the lowest octave possible. The baritone voice made her body tingle.

"Sh..she's alive" Gwen assured and he turned to look at her. When he realised what was going on.

"Where am I?" He asked.

"Dead" She replied and he faced her. His eyes were completely red.

"But you can see me?" He said.

"Yes I can because Zed I'm..... also a living dead but don't worry everything that happened is real" she assured talking about them sleeping together

But he didn't care about that he cared about his mother.

"Where is this place?" He asked.

"Zed you are in the underworld I couldn't let Erik kill you" She said and he could only stare at her.

"You've been dead for two days" she said.

"And Erik let me live? " he asked.

"He couldn't harm you in that time you were recuperating" she explained and he turned his head away.

"I'm thirsty" he said his voice was hoarse and his throat felt itchy.

"I'll get you water right away" she said rushing to get him water. Soon she came back handing it over to him.

He sat up receiving it his fingers brushing hers.

She looked at the man in front of her again. He was definitely different in a way that made her shiver.

He was larger in size his hair was now blue and cascaded down his back his eyes were pure red and his skin was snow white his new body almost covered the whole room.

He finished the water in one gulp but the pain in his throat didn't go.

"More" he demanded she quickly ran to get him more he immediately gulped it down again but the pain didn't go he shut his eyes squeezing the gold cup in his hand till it started distorting out of shape.

"I'll get you more" Gwen said rushing out of the room and bringing the whole jug of water, he drank half of it but nothing changed he threw the jug away and it shattered making Gwen jump.

He felt like he was going to run mad if he didn't remove the ache.

"What can I get you, my lord?" She asked grabbing hold of his large arm.

"Something to remove the pain" he replied and Gwen shuddered.

"You are feeling pain in your throat?" She asked and he nodded.

It could only mean one thing he was a blood demon, blood demons had been extinct decades ago she never thought she would see one in her lifetime.
