"No my lord" she didn't look in his eyes. Zed noticed she looked pale and had lost weight something was happening to her. Though he didn't like her attitude he had known her for a long time and she was always available whenever he needed her.

"What is it Gwen?" He asked again.

"I'm sorry if I have confused the king with my expression all is well with me" she gave a fake smile which Zed didn't miss.

"I won't be able to give myself to you Gwen what we shared was in the past memories that would soon be forgotten" Zed said and Gwen felt a sharp pain at his words.

She ensured that Erik did not kill him if not for her he would be long gone.

"You can't say that to me I saved you!" Gwen began to cry.

"I saved you I gave myself to you anytime you wanted any thing you needed I was always first I put you before myself and now not only are you pushing me away you also want to forget the memories!" Gwen was shouting now but Zed just stared at her.

"I appreciate what you did for me but it was out of choice I never forced you" Zed replied.

"You were mine but that human girl stole you from me!" Gwen was trembling in anger.

"Don't bring Skye into this" Zed simply replied.

"But you married Audrey why don't you marry me too I've loved you since but you just pushed me aside do you know how much it hurts" she grabbed his hands.

"I love you Zed I can't be without you, you are mine" she said sternly.

Zed looked at the obsessed woman.

"I could never marry a whore and if you can't live without me it's better you die cause I will never accept you" Zed said coldly pulling her hands away from his he began walking away.

"Ahh!!!!" Gwen screamed crumbling to the ground she shook and cry.

"He is mine
He is mine
He is mine" she kept repeating it like a mantra trying to calm herself.

Zed arrived in his chambers which he hardly stayed in, within a few minutes of his arrival to the room Vincent walked in with two human girls who looked scared to their wits.

Zed smiled at the sight.

"Women?" He asked.

"I thought they would soothe the kings taste better" Vincent bowed and Zed waved him off.

"I don't talk to my meals much but you are still young and somewhere in me I feel bad for taking your life" he said and the two women shook and just stared at him while he smiled.

"I will make this as fast as possible I am already frustrated from the hunger and refusal will only make me angry and I don't like to be made angry" he smiled at them and they stared at his red eyes though he smiled the meaning of his words registered deep in their minds.

The girl with blonde hair stepped forward first and Zed smiled.

"I would have let you live for your courage but I'm too hungry and not many get to see the king of the underworld you are quite lucky" Zed smiled before tilting the girls neck over his mouth watered at the sight and he dug his fangs deep her blood was sweet, young, fresh and satisfying.

The girl gave a shrill cry and the other one began to bang on the door to escape which annoyed Zed.

He left the one he was sucking blood from and within a second he grabbed the one banging on the door ripping her skin open without care or remorse he drank her dry and her screams ceased.

He looked at the young, blonde girl.

"Come" he beckoned her with his fingers she walked over to him her hand on her neck as she was still bleeding.

"Vincent" Zed called and Vincent appeared in the room.

"My king"he bowed.

"Dispose this body" Zed pointed at the girl on the floor and Vincent carried the body disappearing.

"Why didn't you hesitate when I asked you to come?" He asked looking at the girl.

"You already warned us and there was no escape it was better to accept our fate than die a more brutal way"the girl said and Zed nodded.

He pulled out a handkerchief giving it to her.

"Vincent" Zed called and Vincent appeared.

"Lead this girl back from where she came from make sure she gets back safely" Zed said.

"Thank you king" the girl bowed.
