TIRED

Zed opened the door to where Audrey was kept and the Elders and kingsmen followed him inside.

He placed his hand on Audrey's stomach immediately the bandage dissapeared and he kissed her forehead.

"Any of you want to come take a look?" He asked and one of the kingsmen came forward he looked at Audrey checking her breathing then he was about to check her heartbeat and pulse but Zed stopped him.

"Sire?" The man said confused.

"She's breathing isn't she?" He asked.

"She is my Lord but.. ."

"Isn't a breathing person alive?" Zed asked.

"Yes my Lord b..."

"Then that should be all shouldn't it?" Zed asked.

"Sire he needs to check her heart beat and pulse rate if she's okay" an elder said.

"What if she's slightly sick and that has nothing to do with me will you shift the blame on me?" He asked.

"The complaint said she was nearly killed" a kingsmen said.

"Then there should be evidences of injuries" an elder said and the kingsmen nodded.

"Sire if you will permit" the man checking her breathing said and Zed nodded then moved back the man examined her but there was no injuries being tempted to check her pulse rate he was about to but Zed stopped him.

"Sire let him check her heart beat" an elder intruded.

"If she's asleep she should have woken up by now" a kingsmen said.

"Are you implying that she is dead but breathing?" Zed asked with a smile.

"If you want her to wake up then I shall coax her awake" Zed replied turning to Audrey he brought his face close to hers and the Elders and kingsmen looked away. Zed chuckled a little his lips gracing Audrey's cheeks.

"Get up" he whispered in her ear in a cold voice and immediately she gasped awake.

"Zed?" She murmured and some of the elders and kingsmen looked shocked.

"Anything else?" Zed asked.

"No my lord" the kingsmen Arthur said leading the other people outside.

When they were gone Zed turned to deliver a glare at Audrey before leaving the place.

Audrey was in shock that she was alive and when she checked she had no injuries and she felt no pain she felt normal but she noticed she was in an unfamiliar room and Zed had locked the door behind him.

"Thank you for you time sire" a kingsmen greeted when they returned to the throne room.

"But the issue of the killing spree is not off the charts Prince if such repeats itself again we have men who are more than capable of leading kristanlia" Elder Marvin said and Zed have him a wary smile.

"I will keep that in mind have a good day great elder marvin" Zed said and watched as the elders and kingsmen left the throne room before he frowned.

Pharian was not here and he did not trust the servants he had one of them was brave enough to report him that only meant he had spies as servants.

Later that night with pharian being absent Zed had to take care of everything alone and he was already tired his eyes still being red looked lazy and hollow though he still walked in an upright position without it being obvious that he was tired.

He heard the loud roaring of thunder before heavy rain began to pour down on the castle hitting the walls and windows.

He opened Skye's room and saw her sleeping peacefully and decided to head back to his room without bothering to check on Audrey who was locked up without food.

He would move Skye's things to his room so he would be able to keep an eye on her from now on.

Entering his room he decided to bathe though it was cold before slipping into his night wear. He was normally cold blooded and the rain only increased his need to sleep more without bothering to light the fire place he sat on his bed gulping down the water that was placed beside his bed before laying down his eyes had barely closed when he started feeling weird his temperature became warmer and he immediately sat up.

He felt his limbs getting weaker and his head ached.

He had a feeling in him that he didn't understand but felt the need to remove but he didn't know what.

He shut his eyea laying back on the bed trying to force himself to sleep but he felt incredibly hot he went to the window pushing it open and the rain splashed on him which he didn't mind wanting to get cold.
