"Skye I am not human and for the mean time you can't comprehend what I am" he sighed.

"I can, go on" she urged curiously.

"You can't but I will tell you the reason I consume human blood" he laughed a bit at her enthusiasm and she listened with keen interest her eyes widened like a curious cat. No one was ever intrested in him and he found it amusing that she was.

"I drink blood to live. I can't live without drinking blood" he explained in the easiest way he could.

"So you are a vampire?" she questioned intrigued.

"No I am not" he smiled a little and she nodded thoughtfully it took all in him not to laugh at her trying to work her little human brain around what he was.

"Skye you will take over the affairs of the kingdoms for today" he said suddenly changing the subject and she stared at him confused.

"I will be fully recovered by the end of the day" he explained.

"I will try" she smiled a little and he returned it.

"Come you need to bath" she said getting down from the bed.

"And you're ready to wash me?" He asked amused.

"Yes" she smiled flushed, he could tell she was excited. Chuckling, hee stood up and they both made their into the bathroom.

"Where is the Prince?" One of the authorities asked when Skye appeared at their meeting.

"The Prince asked me to take over this meeting to bring in more ideas about the kingdom's welfare" she replied taking in all their stares and glares.

She couldn't tell them he was sick they had been looking for a way to remove his position.

"But....my lady..." The general began.

Skye gave him a look. "Any problem General?" she asked with a wicked smile.

"None my lady" he swallowed his tongue looking down.

"Well done they already fear you. They believe Zed has taught you his ways " she heard Pharian praise beside her and she smiled a little.

The meeting began and Pharian helped her with issues she couldn't handle. She found it strange that they couldn't see him.

When the meeting was over she had to handle the affairs of the kingdom and the queries of the people.

"You did well today" Pharian praised her and she flushed looking elsewhere.

"Zed would be proud" he teased and she turned pure red.

"Do you think?" She asked excitedly.

"Yes he would, you're wise Skye and you will make a fine ruler" he smiled with a roll of his eyes.

"Oh come here" she hugged him slightly and pulled back.

"Though I do not know your relationship with my husband" she thought out loud. She had heard something about your 'own blood' last night.

"Why don't you ask your husband" he smiled and she looked down.

"He never wants to tell me anything" she frowned.

"He will have no choice but to. If he still does, refuse him things he likes" Pharian  suggested with a smile hoping to piss his brother off through Skye.

"Pharian are you married?" She asked and he chucked.

"Skye, I'm still too young" he smiled  waving her off  but she could see his cheeks go red slightly and she laughed.

Some maids looked at her like she had gone mad. With whom was the princess laughing with? They stared around her unable to see the entity that is Pharian.

She ignored her and kept walking towards her and Zed's room.

"I better leave now" Pharian smiled at her once they appeared infront of the room.

"Okay goodnight Pharian" she smiled and he returned it before disappearing.

She opened the room and she saw food served on the table but Zed was no where to be seen.

She heard a little knock on the door and Helen came in.

"He asked me to serve your meal. He left urgently and said he would be back soon" Helen relayed and Skye nodded though she was a bit disappointed. She began to eat her dinner in silence till she had enough for the night. She decided to bath and wash herself even after that, Zed wasn't still back.

She felt sad. She put on her robe and began to apply oils to her skin before brushing her hair.
