BEYOND ANGER

The child is gone.

The voice rang in Zed's head a hundred times before he finally understood the words.

The ground shook and Grethel screamed in pain as Zed's hand on his became scorching and he heard the snap of his shoulder bone and Grethel cried in pain.

"Fix her" Grethel heard an unusual calm voice but the voice was cold and deadly.

With shuddering hands and shaky breaths Grethel gradually with his unique powers began to extract the poison from Skye's body.

While Zed's eyes were completely blood red no white in the ground had not stopped shaking and Grethel still felt the pain in his arm.

"I'm through sire she just needs to rest a little she will get better when she wakes up just take good care of her.

"Grethel what did you draw out from her?" Zed's unknown voice asked.

"P...poison sire" Grethel replied and screamed again as Zed's hand melted his skin ans blood spilled with flesh being revealed.

Zed left Grethel's shoulder and the demon dissapeared.

Zed stared at Skye on the bed who looked like life had been drained from her.

Pharian felt the ground beneath him shake.

"What's going on?" Beatrice asked scared.

"I...." Pharian's eyes widened.

"I'll be back" Pharian said leaving the room he and Beatrice were done packing and were bringing their things out when they felt the weird vibration of the earth beneath them.

Kristanlia never had any earthquakes.

Pharian appeared upstairs he could feel Zed's anger he followed it realizing it came from Skye's room he was afraid Zed would kill her from the kind of anger he emitted.

Pharian rushed inside the room throwing the door open and Zed's head snapped like it was being controlled to look at him.

Pharian stared in shock at Zed's complete red eyes his hair was loose and he could feel the power being held in by him.

He had never seen his brother like this before.

Immediately he took one step closer he was lifted in air and Pharian felt his skin scorching and he cried.

"Zed" Pharian whispered it felt like he was being choked while Zed frowned it seemed pharian upset him.

Pharian cried out loudly when he felt pain in his abdomen where he had not fully healed and blood began to seep out.

"Zed!..." Pharian could not finish his sentence as Zed has cut him from speaking though his mouth moved no words came out.

Pharian looked scared out of his wits but he couldn't breathe with no sound coming from his mouth his mouths widened and his eyes shut in pain and he began to vomit some thing black his stomach's bleeding increased like some one was pulling out his guts. His whole body began to shake and as Pharian breathed his last Zed let go of him and his body collapsed on the floor.

Zed turned back to look at skye ignoring his dead brother he stopped frowning and his lips pulled up in a terrifying way before dissapearing he appeared in the maid's quarters directly in the maid's room and all the maids there screamed at someone appearing in the room and noticing the king looked different with his red eyes.

Before any of them could think of running they all started vomiting blood and fell dead on the cold floor. Zed's eyes not leaving the maid's since he arrived.

The maid fell on her knees terrified and shaking.

"My lord" her head on the floor.

"You killed her" Zed's words sounded ethereal and the maid shook his voice was different.

The maid screamed as something suddenly lifted her choking her in air but she couldn't see anything but she was floating.

"Why?" Zed asked.

The maid looked utterly confused and she began to cry as her feets felt on fire before the skin started to melt on its own revealing flesh and blood.

"Sire!" She cried not knowing what he was speaking of.

"The food you served her" Zed spoke calmly yet many dangers hidden behind the voice and realization dawned on the maid.

"My Lord I was not awar...ah!!!!" She screamed as her skin melted more.

"Why?"Zed asked.

"Sire I didn't!" The maid was already shedding tears continuously but Zed was not moved what was holding the maid let go and she fell on the floor and screamed in pain as her body melted.

Zed stood over the maid watching her turn and scream and tear her clothes until she turned into nothing but a pool of blood and bones suddenly he craved blood.
