SHAWN'S FATHER

Azrael threw Zed to the ground who glared at him they seemed to be in another realm.

"Where are We?" Zed asked.

"A place where we would not be disturbed and can have a little bonding time" Azrael said and Zed stood up.

"Why would I want to bond with You?" He asked making the demon Lord smile.

"I do wonder why you have red eyes, you married a human? you are not worthy to have that throne" Azrael moved forward towards him to attack him but Zed was quick to dodge him.

"The old ones never seem to understand that their time has passed" Zed smiled and Azrael returned it.

"And the younger ones think they know best" Azrael's claws scratched across Zed's hands and he began to attack him while Zed blocked as the demon Lord was agile in his movements.

"Being old and trapped in a coffin I expected your old bones to be stiff" Zed tried taunting the man.

"And being young and alive I expected you to be active but I guess it's one of the side effects of marrying a human" Azrael's claws nearly sliced his neck.

"Says the demon who got screwed by a human" Zed retorted his smile growing wide as he saw Azrael's falter at the comment he made.

Azeal didn't say another word but he grabbed Zed to him and his claws plunged deep into his neck and Zed's blood spluttered out as the demon grabbed a hold of his oesophagus wanting to fear it out of him.

Zed pushed the demon Lord from him with one flick of his eyes and Azrael immediately stood up unscathed and attacked like a mad man.

Zed seemed to have hit a nerve with the comment he made it was something the great demon Lord wasn't proud off.

The demon Lord not giving Zed any time to recover and slashed his skin every now and then but Zed seemed unfazed by the blood that left his body.

"Pharian" Skye and Sinan made it to the library to find pharian searching for some books he seemed to have already made a pile. Sinan seemed dumb struck for a moment seeing the man she loved with some bruises.

"Are you hurt what happened?" She asked rushing over to him to check the brusies Skye glanced at the both of them confused but she became suspicious.

"No I am fine Sinan" he simply replied pulling his hand away from hers.

"We found Beatrice mother dead in the throne room but we can't find Beatrice" Skye narrated.

"She's at the other side of the library looking for books" pharian said.

"Books Why?" Skye asked confused.

"Beatrice might not be human" Pharian simply explained while she looked shocked, Sinan frowned.

"I can't sense her" she said.

"What do you mean?" Pharian asked frowning.

"Beatrice is not in the library" Sinan simply replied.

"But we just came in here together and she went to the other racks to search for books" Pharian said and Sinan quickly rushed to check being followed by Skye they checked for Beatrice.

"Right this way" Vincent led and Beatrice began to feel wary why would Shawn's father ask to meet her here.

They seemed to be in some kind of forest but the environment was serene like no one had stepped foot in here for years did his father reside here she felt her bones shiver she felt uncomfortable.

"I don't think he is here are you sure this is the right location sir?" She asked becoming scared of the man who stood infront of her that didn't look like a human.

"I am very sure queen now please let's continue walking" Vincent said.

Beatrice was confused if the man could dissapear why not just bring her exactly to where Shawn's father was.

"I think I should meet him another time I was quite busy when you met me" she began walking but she felt a cold metallic grip on her hand.

"He should not be kept waiting" Vincent narrowed his eyes at her.

"Okay" she said fear engulfing her but this time Vincent began to pull her the fog began to clear out and they came across what seemed to be a tent.

"Ah you are finally here" A man's voice said and she turned to see a tall man with black hair and hazel eyes.

"Thank you Vincent you can go now" Erik said and Vincent bowed and dissapeared.

"Hello human I am Lord Erik Pharian's father" Erik said giving her a small smile. Which she felt wary of.
