"As you should I am here now aren't I?" Zed retorted his eyes were red he was feeling a bit tired as he hadn't slept in two days after his child's death.

"You are still the Prince my Lord you shouldn't have kept the elders waiting so long it's been hours" one of the kingsmen came to the aid of the other elder and Zed's eyes drifted to him.

"I rule and determine every thing that goes on in Kristanlia the title Prince is just some thing you have chosen to call me by when for years I've been doing all the duties of a king" Zed said walking over to an empty seat on the round table he sat on it.

"We understand my Lord but we have come here for an important meeting" Another kingsmen said.

"Proceed" Zed replied.

"Kingdoms have reported that you preach and fuel a fake war making the other kingdoms waste their resources on wanting to fight what is said to be a dream?" An elder said reading from a scroll and Zed smiled.

"What else?" Zed asked.

"It was also reported yesterday that you went on a killing spree two days ago and the lives of the maids and servants were lost" The man kept reading.

"It was also said that you attempted to kill your newly wedded wife?" The man read and closed the scroll as that was the last query.

"To answer the first why would I fuel a fake war it is in a few days time the kingdoms who have sided with me know that a war is coming a bloody one and they want to prevent it while the ones who report such pretend to be ignorant or are fighting with our enemies against us" Zed replied.

"And who exactly are our enemies?, no kingdom dare wage war on us" a kingsmen said and Zed smiled.

"Not just a kingdom it's the tribes" saying this earned loud gasps from everyone on the table.

"Impossible!" An elder declared.

"I will not waste time to argue or explain to you going to the next complaint, two days ago I lost my child my first wife Skye was carrying our unborn child and was poisoned she survived but the child died" Zed said and his eyes scanned everyone in the room.

"My Lord we are sorry for your loss we were unaware that the princess was with child" A kingsmen said standing up and bowing his head.

"So you did go on a killing spree" an elder said confirming the accusation.

"Keep quiet Marvin! The king is mourning his child that was lost!" The kingsmen who spoke scolded the nonchalant elder.

"That does not mean he would begin to kill people without reason Arthur!" The elder retorted and Arthur glared at him.

"Please gentlemen no need to be loud sit" Zed said calmly.

"Elder Marvin yes I went on a killing spree but I didn't kill without reason I killed those who might have been involvedor tried to hide those involved" Zed replied.

"That's injustice! You had no evidence" the first elder that spoke when Zed came in was the one to say this.

"My Lord we are aware that you are grieving but the people that died were many" another elder said.

"Moving over to the next complaint" Zed ignored the two elders his anger was increasing and was now only being held by a thin thread if that thread were to tear everyone in the room would be gone.

"Sire about your wife?" A kingsmen said.

"Audrey is fine and well I wonder why that was reported or who reported it" Zed replied.

"Sire we would like to see the lady" an elder said knowing that someone would not deliver them false information.

"You would like to visit my chambers?" Zed smiled.

"No sire.....".

"Don't worry she'll be placed in another room for you to see" Zed smiled.

"What do you mean placed if she's well she can come and see us can't she?" A kingsmen asked his eyebrows raised in suspicion.

"She is asleep I do not want to disturb her for irrelevant things" Zed said ignoring the glares from some of the people then he began to walk out of the room when the elders began to follow him.

"Surely not all of you want to see the sleeping princess" Zed said and the Elders and kingsmen looked at each other before a few of them followed him.
