Chapter 24

Jennie's POV

After I've done what our professor asked me to do, I immediately ran to the parking lot to find Lisa.

When I arrived there, I saw her sitting on a bench with someone beside her.

They're not close enough to each other to make me panic, but when I walked closer, I immediately felt my face drained. it's Jungkook beside her, and they're talking.

Lisa even smiled at him. I felt jealousy starting to eat me. But I didn't let it lead me. I just waited for them to end their conversation.

Lisa's still looking at his back when I decided to seat beside her.

"what did he say?" I asked nonchalantly. She looked at me, her eyes widen but she still manage to act normally

"oh Nini, you're here" she kissed my cheeks and I felt like I'm gonna melt 'don't do this to me Lili, I'm trying to act normal here' I silently prayed "he apologized, he asked if the rumor between us is true-"

"what did you say?" I cut her off looking at her eyes

"I admit it" she smiled at me as she held my cheeks

"oh" that's the only thing I replied because I thought she'll not answer that question or might deny it 'oh Jennie, you didn't trust your Lili? you're bad'

"and he asked if we can still be friends" she continued, I looked at her eyes waiting for her to finished "I agreed, but... is it okay to you Nini?" she's biting her lips while waiting for my answer.

I don't know what to feel, I'm conscious because she agreed to still be friends with Jungkook, but I'm kind of turned on because of her biting her lips.'oh gaaah'

"It's okay for me, you've mentioned to me that he's your first best friend right?" she nodded "then, I shouldn't stop you from being friends with him again" I reassured her.

She smiled and engulfed me in a hug. I hugged her back and closed my eyes praying 'I know I'm not a religious person, but please Lord, or anyone above us that can see us, please don't take Lisa away from me. she's all I ever asked for'

When we arrived at our unit, I immediately went to kitchen to find something to cook for dinner. Lisa went straight to our bedroom to change and maybe take a nap. 'my sleepyhead' I smiled with the thought

I looked at the ingredients I gathered, it's missing some ingredients I needed that's why I decided to go to the supermarket.

I went first to our bedroom to see Lisa sleeping like a baby. I kissed her forehead and lips before I went out.

I'm scanning the ingredients I took just to make sure I didn't miss anything. I also did some grocery shopping because I'm already here when suddenly I bumped into someone, we stepped back and immediately bowed down to apologized.

When we looked up, we both were kinda shocked but acted cool.

"oh hi Jennie! how have you been?"

"Never been better, how about you Jungkook?"

"I'm good now. I actually talked to Lisa earlier" he replied proudly.

"yes, she mentioned to me" I can see the disappointment in his eyes, maybe he's expecting that Lisa will keep it from me.

"oh, I see.. by the way, where's she?" he asked looking behind my back
