Chapter 27-End

Lisa's POV

I looked at Jungkook's back as he walked to his car. When he's gone, I looked at Jennie who's already looking at me.

"why'd you say that Nini?" I asked sadly. I'm sad at how Jennie treated Jungkook. I know she's not in good terms with him, knowing he's my ex and he's the reason why I became a mess. but I don't want her to treat him like that, he's still a good person

"I-I, Lili, he's the cause of your pain, did you forgot about it already?" she answered me with a question too as she positioned in front of me and hold both of my hands.

"no, I didn't. but I'm fine now, I'm good now because of you, and I don't want to be a victim of my past, holding grudges against someone. it will not help me feel better, and you too. I don't want you to keep that hatred in your heart" she looked at me and looked down

"I'm sorry Lili, I'll try to do better" she said and I quickly hugged her and buried my face on her neck

"You don't need to apologize, I just want us to move on. I already forgave him, I hope you will too Nini" I whispered but loud enough for her to hear.

We broke our hug after a few seconds. She lead me to her car and opened the passenger seat for me to enter and she went to the driver side.

We drove home quietly, it's not awkward, but we know we both have something in mind.

She hold my hand as her other hand holding the steering wheel.

"I'm sorry again Lili, I'll do my best do treat him better" She suddenly spoke, I looked at her and squeezed her hand

"I told you it's okay. I understand why you did that, I'm sorry for forcing you to do something you didn't want" I apologized too

"No Lili, don't say that, you're not forcing me. You're right, I shouldn't hold grudges against him." She said sincerely

"Thank you Nini" I replied and placed her hand on my lips to kiss it. she smiled and soon we got home.

we ate our dinner and after we did our night routine, we laid on our bed side by side.

I can see she's still guilty about what she said earlier. I laid on my side looking at her side profile, she looked at me and laid on her side too to face me.

"hi" I whispered, she chuckled and replied hi too.

I didn't wait for more and initiate to kiss her. after a few seconds she sighed and responded to my kisses.

When we pulled apart, I smiled at her to reassure her that everything's fine

"I love you Nini" I whispered

"I love you more Lili" She replied and this time she's the one who initiated the kiss.

We just laid on our bed kissing until we're both panting. After that, we decided to sleep and just snuggled each other to sleep.

***4 years later***

I woke up with someone hugging me from behind. I smiled and kiss that person's forehead.

I went down to our kitchen to prepare our breakfast. I ate ahead because I have to go to work early today.

After I ate, I took a shower and dressed for work.
