Chapter 10

Jennie's POV

I was too bored the rest of the day. I tried to sleep but I can't get it.

Around 7:15pm, I decided to go to Lisa's unit. maybe I can hangout there for awhile, I want to see her even though I know that Jungkook's there. I also want to give him a hint. I want to fight fairly and not taking Lisa behind his back.

I pressed her doorbell, hoping Lisa's the one who'll open the door. and answered prayer! she's the one who opened it. I smiled widely and greeted her.

"Hi Lili!Can I crash in here for awhile? I'm too bored in my unit." I asked

"Oh, of course Nini, come in" she invited me and I saw Jungkook's looking at us.

"Lili?Nini? wow.. you have a nicknames now." Jungkook said

"Yes, I just love to give the persons close to me a nickname so that I have an exclusive name for them" I replied smiling.

"Sure, you say" he replied rolling his eyes. oh! attitude!

"Babe, what's wrong?" Lisa asked as she went near Jungkook.

"Nothing baby" he replied and suddenly the doorbell rang, he went to the front door and there's a delivery man. I can see that they ordered dinner. how poor of him, can't he cook? he should cook and feed Lisa healthy foods other than ordering outside

"come on Nini, you're just in time for dinner" Lisa said and walked to the dining table to help Jungkook prepare.

I watched them while they're preparing, and I felt bad about their relationship. I admit that they looked good together, but I think Lisa and me looked better together.

We ate while talking, I mean me and Lisa because Jungkook has been silent. Lisa asked him from time to time just not to left him out or make him feel awkward and that's when I noticed the kiss mark on Lisa's neck. I looked from her neck to Jungkook and I saw him smirked.

"So, do you have a boyfriend Jennie?" Jungkook suddenly asked.

"before, but now I'm single" Lisa's just eating and felt relieved that me and Jungkook's talking now.

"I see, what do you like about a guy? maybe I could help you find someone, I have lots of friends" he suggested innocently but I can see better, I think he's already doubtful of me.

"No thanks, I'm not really biased about the gender, if it's love, I'll feel it whether if it's directed to a boy or a girl" I replied and looked at Lisa while saying the last word. I saw in my peripheral view that Jungkook clenched his hands. Lisa's looking at me too that's why she didn't saw it.

"Really? wow! that's new information Nini, you haven't told me about that." Lisa replied smiling then pouted

"It's because I didn't experience it yet" I replied to Lisa

We continued eating and after that, me and Lisa washed the dishes, Jungkook wanted to do it with Lisa but Lisa said it's women's job so he just seated on the couch in the Living room and started watching TV.

After we washed the dishes, we went to the living room. Lisa seated beside Jungkook, and he immediately placed his arms around her shoulder. I seated on a single couch near Lisa. we watched whatever rolled on the Television.

When it's already 10pm, I bid my goodbye to them. I hugged Lisa and kissed her cheeks, she's confused but just let it go. I looked at Jungkook and he's not smiling. I just thanked him and bowed. he nodded and I went to my unit.

Now, my day was stained, I shouldn't come up there. now, I can't removed the mark on Lisa's neck in my mind. I felt my heart clenched and I felt like crying. I think there will be more pain in the future.

It's just between my feelings for Lisa will grow or end. I don't want the latter to happen though. I love seeing her and I love what I'm feeling when I'm with her.

Exhaustion suddenly came in me. The lack of sleep in the previous night took me into a deep slumber.

Jungkook's POV

I knew it! I really knew it! Taehyung Hyung was right, Jennie has something for Lisa! I wouldn't allow her to take my Lisa away.

We're currently laying on Lisa's bed, she's hugging me while resting her head on my chest. I have my arms wrapped around her.

"baby?" I called softly

"mmm?" Lisa responded quite sleepy

"You haven't told me yet what you did with the girls last night" I said quietly not to startle her. I felt her stiffened and now I realized she's keeping something from me "it's okay baby, I will not be angry.Just tell me okay?" I followed up when she took so long to answer.She sighed and told me everything she remembered last night from the movie, snacks and drinks and also what happened when she woke up. I felt my blood boiled discovering she slept with Jennie but I can't get angry with her, she doesn't have any idea about what's happening. She's too innocent and don't want to destroy that innocence and I don't want her to feel that I'm against with the idea of her hanging out with her friends.I just hugged her tight and asked her not to drink without me or without my consent. Thankfully, she agreed.

A little while after our talk, I heard her soft snores, I think the alcohol she took last night really drained her energy that's why she kept on sleeping the whole day.I hugged her tight and kissed her forehead.I don't know what happened when she passed out last night, and the thought that she woke up with Jennie hugging her really made me feel uncomfortable. I imagined things I hope didn't happened. Now, I don't have anything but encouraging myself that nothing really happened. My Lisa..

"I love you Lis, I love you so much. Please... please don't ever leave me" I whispered while hugging her like my life depends on her.

I caressed her hair and just watched her sleep, I can't sleep and it's bothering me too much. I need to confront Jennie, I need to talk to her.

I took Lisa's phone and input her password. I looked for Jennie's name on her contacts but I'm confused no Jennie named saved.Then I remembered their nicknames to each other. I input "Nini" and I found it. I copied her phone number to my phone and immediately texted her.

To: Jennie Kim
2:35am
It's Jungkook, we need to talk.

I decided to push myself to sleep, I need to sleep in order to think properly. I then put Lisa's head on my arms and hugged her until sleep consumed me.
