Chapter 16

Rosé's POV

I called Chickin (Jisoo) immediately after the call I had with Jennie.

We ditched our classes and immediately went to Lisa's condo, but not after we bought foods for all of us.

Jennie's the one who opened the door when we arrived at Lisa's condo. Our worry just added up when we saw how she looked. she looked so restless and drained.

"Jen, what happened? are you okay? where's Lisa?" I asked softly

She didn't respond but instantly hugged the both of us. We heard her sobs and we decided to just let her cry for now. She's in pain, so much pain and I can feel that's very heavy for her to carry.

We seated on the couch and just soothed Jennie until she calmed down.

"Lili.." she started "Lili's in pain, I don't know how to take her burden. I can't see her like this" then she sobbed again.

she slowly told us what happened since the day Lisa took an absent. I felt really bad about what I've heard and discovered.

I started sobbing too while she's telling us what happened and Jisoo's the one who soothed both of us.

After the talk. we went to looked at Lisa, she looked so lifeless, she looked like a mess but the beauty she have never left her face. it's just, her old cheeky and smiling face turned into pained and frown.

I slowly caressed her hair and wake her up

"Lisa.." she groaned

"Lisa, we're here now..come on, let's eat together" she opened her puffy eyes and looked at me.once she saw me, she immediately hugged me and cried on my shoulder. I just let her until she calmed down.

I brought her to the kitchen where Jisoo and Jennie's waiting. I help her seat and Jennie served her food. She doesn't have appetite but we managed to make her eat.

After that, we just seated on her living room while keep the TV rolling. no one dared to talk at first until Lisa broke the silence.

"Thank you.." She softly said that we almost didn't hear but still managed. We smiled at Lisa and gave her a group hug. She chuckled and we started talking and talking until she yawn.

We bid our goodbye and asked her if she'll come to school tomorrow. Gladly, she nodded.

Jennie's POV

Once the couple left, I assisted Lisa to her room. she felt weak and can't stand on her own, but I understand why. She's drained and tired.

I just settled her on her bed and about to stand to get a towel, when she hold my wrist.
