Erza walked in the guild house with a frown on her face. She was upset about the break up with Jellal and nothing could make her mood brighten up. She joined Natsu, Lucy and Grey at the table. Natsu and Grey were busy arguing, so only Lucy noticed Erza's distress at first.
-You're not getting better, are you? -she said concerned.
-No. - Erza shook her head. - I think I need a mission to distract myself.
-Are you sure you have no chance to make up? - asked Lucy.
-I'm sure. - she asnwered, then glared at Natsu and Grey. - Will you two shut up?!
They immediately sat down, too afraid to speak up. Lucy decided to be the one to break the tension. Erza joined the conversation. However it stopped when they felt a strange aura appearing and then getting stronger. The conversations in the whole house died down, guild members were getting ready to fight.The door slammed open, revealing a mage in dark clothes and with covered face. He walked in slowly, removing his scarf and hood. No one recognied him. He wasn't surprised with that, he left when he was very young.
-Who are you? - asked Natsu. The stranger turned his attention to him. He eyed him before he spoke up, completetly ignoring Natsu's question.
-I want to see Makarov. - he said.
As if on cue, the short guild master walked out of his quarters, knowing the said aura. He didn't think he would feel it again. The stranger looked up at the stairs as his grandfather was coming close to him.
-Y/n...- said Makarov with tears in his eyes. - I thought you were dead.
-I thought so too at some point. - he answered and bent down to hug him.
-It's good to see you. - smiled Makarov, then turned to the dumbfounded guild members. - Everyone,this is Y/n, my long lost grandson.
-Grandson? - asked Lucy. - As like Laxus's brother?
-Yeah. - nodded Y/n.
Y/n got introduced to the guild members. He got a lot of attention as he was explaining why he was away for so long and what was happening to him over the years.
-So you were on the mission for all this time? - asked Natsu.
-Yeah, they needed a young mage with the dark powers. - nodded Y/n. - I was away ever since I was ten. A lot has changed.
Time skip
Y/n stayed in the guild. From time to time he was joining different teams in their missions, keeing a good relationships with everyone. Even Laxus, when he came back, was in his favor. At first he was shocked, but he was more than delighted to have his older brother back.
Y/n got along best with a certain red-haired knight. Him and Erza were spending a lot of time together. With the constant teasing between each other, everyone knew that something was going on between them. They knew that too, but neither of them was brave enough to confess.
-It's delicouls. - said Erza as she took a bite of strawberry pastry Y/n made for her. They were at his place.- Where did you learn to bake like that?
-I had a lot of time and opportunities to learn different things. - he answered, eating another pastry.
-Came in handy. - she smiled.
-You have no idea. - muttered Y/n.
-With cooking skills like that you'd make a decent househusband. - teased Erza.
-Why, are you interested? - smirked Y/n, earning a blush from her.
-Maybe. - she answered, looking in his eyes. Now it was Y/n's turn to blush.
-Wanna...do something about it? - Y/n asked, leaning in slightly.
-Like what? - Erza responded with a question, glancing at Y/n's lips.
-I have an idea. - muttered Y/n.
He closed the gap between their lips in a kiss. Erza responded to it and put her hands on Y/n's neck. She pulled him closer, he tasted like strawberries. Y/n smiled lightly into the kiss. Erza pulled away from him just a bit to be able to speak up.
-I love you. - she said.
-I love you too. - smiled Y/n and pulled her into a kiss once more.
