"Spy"

"Hey, what is the matter, Ryel?? What is Kaejo's intention? What do you mean~?"

The puzzled princess shifted her gaze from her knight and Kaejo and couldn't get the point of what's going on until Kaejo sneered and smirked giving an unusual glare to Ryel that bothered the princess.

"Princess, I have heard from the market rumours about spies sent by Shiro to find you. They are no ordinary spies. They are black birds that shapeshift to human form to deceive and to capture you... I am sorry but this guy here is no exception that he is the same Kaejo who was with us earlier... What are you smirking at??"

Ryel dared to calmly speak keeping the safe distance to the princess beside him and he drew his sword not letting Kaejo out of his sight.

"So you think I am a spy then? How absurd... That I am a shapeshifter? Hmph~ Keep your distance from him, Air... Haven't you realized who is truly pretending here??"

Kaejo spoke up and he met the princess' gaze before he slowly moved and Ryel quickly raised his sword towards him gritting his teeth.

"I should have known you're a deceiver... But it is time to reveal your true colors~" Ryel said and Kaejo smirked even more.

"Wait up... How am I supposed to know who among you is the enemy??"

The princess dodged the chair that was thrown by Kaejo and it separated her from Ryel. Kaejo then quickly grabbed the princess' hand and pulled her downstair but she fought back and he ended up rolling down the stairs that even made a commotion in the inn. Ryel was quick and he grabbed the princess and pulled her to jump out of the window from the second floor and they landed safely on the ground where they escaped.

"I hope her skill isn't as bad as to not protect herself from that spy!"

Kaejo muttered and quickly got up not minding her aching arm after his fall and he ran out of the inn chasing after the escaping two. Kaejo even managed to pull a sword from a store he ran passed by and just left his payment and continued running after the two until they were out of the town.

On the other hand, Ryel tightened his grasp on the princess' wrist and regained his normal breathing before he looked at the puzzled princess.

And he quickly let her go realizing what he was doing.

"Forgive me for dragging you like that~ I knew you were good at jumping out from windows..."

"You're not Ryel~ Reveal yourself..."

The princess got out a sword from her cloak and pointed it to Ryel that surprised the young knight and he was frozen in place.

"I am telling you I am not the enemy... You could surely tell that... You're good at knowing people, princess... I mean-"

The tip of the blade run up to Ryel's chin keeping his mouth shut and he didn't dare to close his eyes looking at the princess he was bound to protect.

Meanwhile, someone came from the bushes and Kaejo stood there motionless after seeing the sight of the princess and Ryel. He met the princess' gaze and he faint a smile before he ran to attack Ryel with his sword that Ryel quicky deflected and separated the princess from the two of them.

They ended up clashing blades against each other and even arguing with each other about how their methods of deceiving the other wasn't good enough.

"I'll finish you off for trying to lay your filthy hands on the princess!"

"Shut it, stupid knight! You couldn't even protect her from the invisible monster and you tell me I am the spy?! You deceived us enough!"

The princess stood with her sword from a distance figuring out who to attack until she made her move when both Kaejo and Ryel got their sword's blades on each other's neck.

She was to kill one of them when Ryel smirked and used his hand skill to let Kaejo let go of his sword and he choked him before the princess launched his sword and stabbing the clothes that danced with the wind.

Blood dripped and a sound of the sword being thrown to the group echoed in the silence of the night.

Who was the spy and who got killed??
