New Recruits

Erwin let out a yawn rubbing his eye waking up from the dream of his past, looking to his right he couldn't help but to smile at his now wife. Rolling over he wrap his arm around her taking in his favorite scent, "Had a good dream?" Grim ask with her own sleepy smile. "Why do you ask?" Erwin ask tightening his grip on her kissing her neck, "Because you always smile when you have a pleasant dream." Erwin blink, "Pleasant dreams are very rare now and days can you blame me?" He ask. Grim turn around staring into his eyes, "No, I guess not." 

Erwin smile back kissing her lovingly, he didn't understand why that dream occurred. It's been so long since he thought about their first meeting and the childish promise they made. Their lives is filled with chaos that pleasant thoughts just doesn't fill one heads. Erwin felt grateful for once, in who know how many years, his dreams was filled with joy and a bit of embarrassing moments.

Pulling away the couple smile enjoying the little peace they can enjoy, "What was your dream about?" Grim ask cuffing his face. "About us, and my father embarrassing me." Erwin frowns glaring at their ceiling thinking about all the torture his father put him threw regarding his crush on his now wife. Grim let out a giggle pushing off his chest taking a stretch, Erwin watch as she got out the bed walking over to get ready for the day. "Yes, from what you told me he was such a jokester. Teasing his son love." Erwin only sigh rubbing his face, "I'm starting to regreat telling you all the stories. If I knew you would torture me as well." Grim only laugh at her husband, "What's a little teasing?" She ask.

Erwin sat up to make up the bed, today he was heading to the Underground to recruits new soldiers to join the Scouts. HIs wife granted his wishes once he made a thorough argument.

Grim Smith is the General of the Scout Regiment, meaning she's the head of everyone and everything dealing with the Scouts. Every decision, every new plan of action, every new recruits and Commanders are overseen by her. Erwin learned early on, just because the two were dating. Now married, didn't mean she would go easy on him. If anything he had to work three times as hard to get his requests approve. He was very surprise she approve of him recruiting the three new cadets that was known thugs in the Underground.

So far they were rumors that was proved true thanks to a kid he hired to check out the information given by the Military Police. Once Erwin explain to Grim the situation, she agreed. "You have one week to get things organize." She told handing him his approve request, "Thank you Ma'am." He said back saluting her before leaving her office.

Erwin jump feeling arms wrap around him as he shave his face, "Be careful today down there. Those thugs, don't take them lightly." Grim kiss his shoulder moving on to do her hair. Erwin watch as she comb her long sliver locks, he always admire the color and how she got it to shine. Even after all these years she never once cut her hair short, it always amazed everyone how she never got snatch with such long locks. Grim didn't do anything special to her hair from what Erwin has seen over the years, she was just perfect in every way.

From her scars down to her body, to her sharp mind, to her crazed moments in battle. Erwin didn't see a flaw in his wife, sure she has them like any human being but to Erwin she was perfection. He made sure to tell her everyday he love her, after his father passed he made it his life mission to over see his father theory and to prove that his father wasn't talking crazy nonsense. 

Losing his father thanks to his negligence was the hardest lost he ever felt, he was so young and stupid to keep his mouth shut. What the Military Police did to his Father was unforgivable, Erwin made a promise to his father he would avenge his death. He never told Grim his intention, or why he joined the Scouts. It just so happen faith brought them together, and his now wife controls and lead the Scouts Regiment. It was a win-win in Erwin mind.
