Grim ♊︎ Attack on Titan

New Bodies

After the whole fiasco dealing with Hange Titan experiment failure it was time for the Scouts to gain new members. That is, if any was will to join. Grim was fixing her and Erwin an early dinner in their small home as Erwin went over everything they need to recruit new bodies for the upcoming Scouting mission. Later that night the cadets would pick their regiments, "How many do you think will join?" Grim ask while placing their dinner on the table. "Not sure. I suppose we'll see later tonight. I won't hold my breath of course." Erwin sat down his plans on their coffee table walking to their dinner table to eat.

He kissed Grim in thanks before eating, "It's best, they must know joining the Scouts isn't something to take lightly. Plus, this mission will make or break our future." Grim and Erwin stayed quiet as they ate, "We really need this to work, to at least smoke out the traitor." Erwin quietly states. "Best way to smoke them out is by letting them know what we are expecting." 

Grim nod, "I went over the game plan with Hange and Levi along with the other squad leaders. Of course I threw in some lies in between, it shouldn't be hard to weed out the weasel or weasels which from what Gunther stated may be the case." Erwin nod, "Agreed. This will be interesting, I'm a little excited for this." He eyed his plans with narrow eyes, "I will catch who ever it is that's been causing this mess."

Grim and Erwin walk to the ceremony together, Grim would be giving the speech this year while Erwin watch from the sidelines. "Wish me luck love." Grim share a kiss with him, "Don't need luck, if anyone can convince cadets to join it's you." Erwin answers kissing her back. Erwin watch as she walk up the stage greeting the cadets.

As Grim walk on stage some of the recruits eyes widen not expecting the General of the Scouts to greet them personally. "Wow, General Grim is here?" Armin said to himself. "Is this normal?" Mikasa asked him eyeing the woman as she made her way to the front of the stage, looking every bit the intimidating General that she is. "No, usually Commander Erwin do the recruiting from what I studied." Armin answers. 'So why is General Grim here? Something big must be up for her to be here tonight.' Armin thought just as Grim begin.

"Good evening. I am Grim Smith, the General of the Survey Corp also known as the Scout Regiment." Grim start out eyeing all the recruits. "Today you will choose your regiment. Let's cut to the chase here. The Scouts need you, we need all the warm bodies we can get." Grim can see most of the recruits faces change, "After the recent Titan attack, you now know first-hand the horse of which they are capable. As well as the limit of your own skill."

"However! This battle's aftermath gave humanity a new chance for victory. I refer to Eren Yeager, after selflessly risking life and limb he has proving without a doubt his unwavering loyalty to our cause." Erwin had to admit his wife was doing a great job pulling that trump card out, 'Levi said Eren think most of his comrades were thinking about joining. Smart move Grim.' He thought to himself.

Grim was now ready to put the first action of Erwin plan in place, "He also offer us a mean to discern the truth of their origin!" Mutters was now heard through out the cadets, shock was on many faces once that statement was given. "Intel suggests that the cellar of Yeager home in Shiganshina holds a vital secret regarding our enemy. Commander Erwin Smith will form an expedition to find this secret. Find it and use it to break free from the Titan's tyrannical hundred-year reign." 

Grim carefully watch everyone faces, 'Come along little rats. I know you won't resist this opening.' Grim couldn't help but to think with a silent smirk. "Before we can reach the aforementioned cellar in Shiganshina another problem must be dealt with. We must first retake Wall Maria, of course this is much easier said than done." Grim nod for Petra and Miche to show Erwin map of the walls and what route they plan on taking.
