Michael's POV

I drove to Ana's house and pulled up to her driveway with Calum. It was too early as fuck to be up at this time of day but as soccer season was upon us the two little athletes had to get to school early. I was the only one that drove a car. Ana had her license, but she had this whole little fit about not wanting to show off her parent's money at school and blah blah blah. I thought girls were confusing, but Ana was on a whole other level. I walk up to her house and knock on the door to see her Dad answer. "Morning Mr. Morgan!" Calum and I said as we stepped into Ana's house to grab breakfast that Ana's mom made us. Calum and I made conversation with her mom until Ana finally came out dressed in her uniform. "Bye parentals!" She told them after kissing both of their cheeks. We walked out to my car and I drove us to school. Ana looked really happy this morning and I was glad she was, my best friend deserved to be happy. We get to school and I drove them to the track. "Thanks for the ride Mikey see ya later!" Ana said while Calum just told me, "Bye lover boy." I rolled my eyes as I drove near the music building to park. What was with everyone calling me that lately. I recognized a pink haired lady and drove by then said, "Yo baby what you doing?" I told her which caused her to laugh and then get in the passenger's seat. "So what are you doing here so early at the crack of dawn?" I asked her then she explained, "Luke decided that he needed to head the music room so he could work on some songs for his demo." I nodded. "What about you? I know you love your sleep." She said playfully as I grab her hand and drove out of the parking lot. "I had to take the athletes to their morning practice." I laughed and let go of her hand for a second just to turn on the radio. "Now how about we have a coffee date before school?" I asked her with a huge smile on my face. "Sounds good to me. I need coffee." She told me in a serious tone. "I usually don't like coffee, but this place has some pretty good coffee and I really like the donuts that they make here too." I explained to her as I pulled up to a little cafe near our school. I walked over and opened the door for her like my Mom taught me to do. "My lady." I said in my best British accent I could come up with while she giggled then replied by saying. "Why thank you kind sir." She also decided to make a British accent which was way better than mine. We walked into the cafe then sat down in a booth near the window. "So you excited for English today?" She casually asks me. "Yeah I mean kind of because I sort of sit by the hottest girl that I have ever seen in my life." She gave a smirk then told me. "You're not so bad yourself Clifford." This caused me to laugh then the waitor comes and asks Sam, "You ready to order?" I looked annoyed as this dude seemed like he was interested in MY girl. I mean she wasn't officially mine or anything, but still she was clearly with ME and not him. "Yes WE are ready to order." I told him a bit rudely. He finally turned and faced me as I gave him my order then Sam gave him her order. "Michael chill he was just being nice." Sam told me in an attempt to calm me down. It worked a little bit, but I still pouted. "If he was so nice he would have looked at me and asked our order instead of just staring at you." I explained with an annoyed expression on my face. My face was literally the 'annoyed' emoji. "You're so cute Clifford." Sam told me as she ruffeled my hair. "Yeah yeah, I'll show you just how cute later." I told her then winked.

Luke's POV

I asked Sam to drive me to the music building early Monday morning and she happily obliged. "So what are you working on Pukey?" Whenever she was in a giddy mood she would called me Pukey. Her dad before he took off had once said my name ryhmed with puke and she loved it. "I have a new song. Its more of a happy one like you said." She smiled and me and gave me a teasing look. "I bet i know why my favorite quiff boy is so happy. Her name ryhmes with banana." I gave her a stupid look and she giggled at her own joke. "Do you want to come in with me?" I asked her when we parked her car. "Honestly I would but I think I see Michael's car so I'm going to go spend time with him before school. I pouted. "Fuck Clifford he's stealing my bestie." I whinned. She punched my arm and gave me a hug. "I'll come with you this afternoon promise." I agreed and watched her walk away. I entered the music room and set my note book up at the piano. I began playing out the riff I had playing in my head but things just were not mashing up. I slammed my fist into the keys and took a deep breath. I knew I wanted to write a happy song and I had a couple lyrics, but nothing was flowing and I was getting frustereated. I finally decided to go for a walk. I gathered my stuff and carried it to Sam's car. She had an awful habit of never locking her car, but it benifitted me. The morning was crisp and a bit dewy from last nights rain and my vans were staring to soak through as I walked. Eventually I found i had made my way to the soccor field where the boys and girls were both having practice. Anna was captain o fthe girls team so I decided to go watch her. I sat myself on the top of the bleachers and watched her run the field. I didn;t really know too much about soccer, but I could tell she was really good at it. She ran so easily and didn't ever seem to be out of breath. I could tell by the smile on her face how much she genuinly enjoyed the game. I loved watching her play. The way she moved on the field she was like a dancer, Every move was fluid and calculated. Choreographed to perfection. She shouted intrusction to team mates and the followed her without question. It was so much fun to watch honestly. I had engrossed myself so much in Anna I hadn't realzied the boys had finished practice. "She really is something else isn't she?" a voice said from next to me. I looked up to see the dark haired boy I had once believed was Anna's boyfriend. "I'm Calum." He introduced himself and offered his hand. "Luke." I shook his hand and he sat next to me. He sucked down about half a water bottle before speaking again. "Look, Anna doesn't trust easy. It took quite a bit to get her to Trust us when we met her." He paused thinking. "But she is a beautiful girl with the kindest heart and she seems to really like you. The lie you told... it hurt her, but she will forgive you. Just know if you ever hurt her. For any reason. Michael and I will unleash a world of hurt so deep you'll drown no matter how fast you swim." I looked at Calum. His face was set and his gaze locked on Anna. He truely loved her and I knew what he said was the honest truth. "I don't ever plan on hurting her ever agian. She is something... precious." I whispered the last word as I watched Anna break for water. She flipped her pony tail behind her and looked up to where Calum and I sat. A huge smile broke across her face and she waved. Calum and I both waved back unsure who exactly it was for. Chances were though she meant it for the both of us. She was just so kind hearted that way. "You're not so bad Hemmings." Calum said patting my shoulder. "Thanks, you either Hood." He nodded and walked away leaving me alone on the cool metal seats. Anna looked up again and smiled. This time I knew it was just for me. I smiled back and threw her a thumbs up before standing up and heading away from the fields to get back to school. Something precious indeed.
