POV Narrator:

After the Luna Nova broom relay which showed the enormous superiority in which Laura crushed the competition with a very high skill, to the point of treating that race as if it was nothing, it draws a lot of attention, besides that in the qualifying for the British Broom Racing Tour they had some of the team leaders that went to Luna Nova to see the McLaren and they even started to look at the redhead even more impressed and even scared, since she was able to go so fast, to the point of becoming the fastest historically in Luna Nova, with an average speed of 750 km/h on a course that not even the fastest could reach half of that, shows how the Irish woman was on a level of her own.

As soon as she returns to Luna Nova, Laura finds the girls admiring her, for her incredible ability, for the high level, for the high speed and she just ignores them there, since she always hated a lot of idolatry to her side, she always preferred to be seen only as Laura and not as an incredibly fast witch, no celebrity. The one who didn't like this at all was Beatrice England who found it an outrage that someone could reach such a high level flying on a broomstick, it was humanly impossible, but even so she soon left it aside to "celebrate" alongside the girls, thus enjoying a party in the white team's room, together with Eleanora, Molly and all the girls from Bianca Matarazzo's trio.

Saturday, September 26, 1987

That Saturday morning, because it was very early, Laura already woke up and went to the circuit, to train a little, without taking Bernadette along who was still sleeping when McLaren left, as well as the other girls, it was the ninth race of the year of 15, it was one more chance for the Irish girl to get 10 more points and thus climb even further in her career, to get as many points as possible, a goal that is rarely achieved and only the highest caliber racers can reach that point, but after Luna Nova's broomstick relay the day before, McLaren only shows she is the high caliber racer who can get that record, even more so since she had the one with the longest winning streak, with eight so far.

Some time later in the blue team's room, it was already a little later, Bernadette gets up, starts to get ready, goes to take a shower, after the shower she changes, gets ready a little more for the day, she even looks at herself in the bathroom mirror.

POV Bernadette:

Today is another race day for Laura.... Today I also want to talk more with her... To get closer, because it is getting complicated to stay so far away, I want her to clarify once and for all this story with her sister and I also want to get closer to her... In spite of everything I am still foolish enough to fall in love with that girl who is a little thick, I identify myself, I feel comfortable next to a person like that... She helped me a lot man... She gave me the strength not to lower my head so much, I'm noticing how she helps me a lot with this, I can't be that imposing when I arrived, I was lost and I think I would obey everything Beatrice says... Well let's go, Laura must be waiting for me to run, but when I get to the exit door, I am barred by Beatrice who stands with her arms open in front of the door, she didn't want me to leave.

- Don't think about it Bernadette. This friendship of yours with Laura McLaren is going too far! This girl is making you worse! Don't even think about leaving this door if you are my real friend - said Beatrice, blocking the door... But why? What is the need for this... Really?

- Laura is my friend and nothing stops me from seeing her, what is the point of having her friendship if she doesn't even see me? Since you only think about having sex? You don't even have video games here? What am I going to do besides putting on makeup and talking about what I am obliged to hear when I am in every... That stuff about rich people, getting a rich man, talking badly about poor people - I say it very clearly until Beatrice tries to impose herself by puffing out her chest to talk to me.
