Laura McLaren became the 1991 World Broom Racing Championship champion after an excellent season on the LEAF broom with a record of 13 wins in one season, 11 of which were consecutive, showing that she was much more than they thought she was. The whole world was shocked to see that a racer of that caliber arrived dominating another possible season that Lucy Watson would become champion, But the Irish rookie proved the opposite in these 16 races, it was a huge domination, even more with the LEAF broom that was slightly inferior to the brooms of Scuderia Carlucci, Victoria and even Bekkerts, but even so she managed to get the impossible out of that broom with unexpected victories with a equipment that would only give points and at most one podium or another. That was the moment when Laura McLaren was establishing herself as a super talented and great broom racer.

At the Cavendish mansion in the meantime Daryl went to the reformatory, being released after 9 months had passed where she had a good behavior and talked to some of the inmates, making some friends, besides the fact that she ended up making the first relationships of her life, having some small flirtations here and there, until the moment the day came, she said goodbye to them and went to the Cavendish mansion in the end of September where she didn't want to go back to school and just continued her life, saying that she didn't need to do anything anymore, that she wouldn't work and didn't care about the family leadership, but of course it was all just a bluff from her, except for the part of not working and not studying which she really didn't want to make a point of doing because she saw it as a waste of time and that it was a useless effort, she could even end up being expelled from the Cavendish family mansion for this, but Bernadette didn't do this because she was just a rebellious teenager who would soon go back to studying and be in line.

Daryl was already free for two months and her sixteen years old birthday was coming very close, but she didn't give a shit, she just wanted to put her plans in action, she spent some days at the mansion's library trying to find a specific book, this was already a month ago, she tried to find book by book and even Isabella and Bernadette were surprised to see that the girl was still studying at home, so they stopped pressuring her to go back to a witch academy, at least just for that moment, since they didn't want her to feel uncomfortable and after nine months in jail she ended up losing a lot of things, she would have to fail almost two whole years, so they decided to just let it go so she could try her luck and take an exam that would put her back to the year she was studying before she was arrested. On that particular day, Daryl was continuing to go through the books in the library of the mansion until a whole mountain of books collapses on top of her and causes her to mess up that entire shelf, further hindering the search for the specific book until Cavendish finds the long awaited book.

POV Daryl:

"The Fertility Stone" by Diana Cavendish III, that's the very one I wanted to find.... Great... Now I won't need any more to get some man with a relation in witches to have sex and get pregnant of my future daughters, I am even thinking about Paul, but I have better plans with him, I will take advantage that the idiot doesn't believe in these things and have sex a few days after I used this fertility stone with a powerful witch, these things for sure must give a much greater purity to witches and I have no doubt that Laura and Bernadette must be hiding this from me? They are really one step ahead in relation to the fertility stone and if I don't get smart they have their daughter before mine and that gives me a tremendous disadvantage in leading this family. Well I put that book inside my bag and then used magic to arrange the shelves, as I knew someone would suspect the missing book I put a fake one in its place, now it's just a matter of time, I'll leave here temporarily to plan a few things. As soon as I leave the library I run into my grandmother who wakes me up, that damned traitor, because of her we are here? Submitting ourselves to those two cursed women who made sure to change most of the employees of the mansion just because they had suspicions about the old ones.
