POV Narrator:
The days went by and the month of October seemed to go by like a rocket for the girls, in a short time they already saw themselves in the blink of an eye around the 20th already at the end of the month, what made Bernadette even more tense, because the day when Finnelan would send the letter to the girl's mother was getting closer and closer, Even more so because the same teacher in a last meeting with the girl gave her only one week to stop seeing Laura McLaren or else she would write a letter to send to Mrs. Cavendish, in these meetings the girl could even keep herself proud in front of Anne Finnelan, but this was only to show that she was confident of the decision she had made to be herself and to go with someone she felt comfortable with and liked the company.
The school week was the same as always with the normal classes and some days that happened tests for the girls, besides the homework application, which were already starting to stress Laura a little bit in having to do those things so she wouldn't end up failing, as much as it was easy, for her it was still a big waste of time doing homework, but she saw this as an advantage and a great excuse to go to the library, since that was where they had books about random subjects, but there was one in specific that caught the Irish girl's attention, which was a research about Luna Nova in the beginning of the XX century, with this she went to the students' yearbook and found someone very interesting. The redhead took the face of one of the girls and decided to draw her portrait so that she could show it to them later.
Saturday, October 24, 1987
That day was another race day for McLaren, the thirteenth race of the year and one more victory, thus achieving a unique achievement of 13 victories in a single season of 15 races, which was a record unbeatable until then, but it was easily massacred by Laura and her incredible skill in broomstick flight. After all the racing is over the girls return to Luna Nova and gather in the red team's room, but before they are all reunited, they each go to their team's room to get the results of their plans and all that they have accomplished.
POV Laura:
I hate homework, but I have to agree that that shit helped me to find the identity of that girl that was haunting those corridors, I'm totally sure it's her just by the picture and even more because in the yearbook it's saying that she was missing since 1913, so it's quite possible that the information matches with what we found in that basement... By the way, we haven't even explored the other mysterious places in the academy, we should take a look there too, who knows, maybe we will find more things, but first it is better to focus on the most vital things of all... I am wondering here what information they must have gathered all this time, I hope a lot, especially about those crazy cultists.
- So Laura, did you discover anything interesting? - April asked.
- I did, but it's not so much to do with Appleton or Bern's plan, it has more to do with that place we went, I'll tell you when the girls get back - I tell April, already a bit anxious.
POV Bernadette:
Almost to my dorm room... I wonder about Laura... I wonder what she has accomplished this week? And will she one day propose to me like Scarlet did? I am still perplexed that the two are already together, I never even noticed how April and Scarlet were so close and how they were falling in love with each other, it can only be magic... Well, when I enter the room I soon meet the girls, they were both smoking looking at the window as usual and soon realize my presence.
- You should knock before entering our room, imagine if some teacher catches us doing that? - said Beatrice, as if I cared.
- Really Bern, be more careful and don't open it too wide, it's fine to come in, but don't open that door too wide - Molly said, being gentle as always, and I just nodded.
