Chapter Five

Hakeem Point Of View :

I walked in my room to find the piece of paper that Camri wrote her number on sitting on my bed . I walked over to the note and opened it .

It read : Look out your window!

So I did exactly as I was told . I looked over to Camri's room and I saw a piece of paper stuck to the window , with her number on it . I smiled and called her .

Camri : Hello?

Hakeem : Hey Cam , its Hakeem .

Camri : Oh , whats up?

Hakeem : The sky .

Camri : *she laughed* Trying to mock me I see

Hakeem : Yeah , but what chu doing girl?

Camri : Un-packing . What you doing?

Hakeem : Thinking .

Camri : About what?

Hakeem : How we'll be the sexiest couple in school .

Camri : Who says we'll be a couple?

Hakeem : You

Camri : Whatever . But i gotta go so i'll text you in the am . Okay?

Hakeem : Alright . Bye sexy .

Camri : *laugh* Bye Hakeem .

-Convo Over-

I threw my phone down and hopped in the shower . As I was in there , I scrubbed my body and thought about Camri . Im changing . I've been a player up until now . I cant let one bitch change me . Being home alone all the time caused me to act like this . Im not going to get a crush on her. I just have to remain on top . 20 minutes later I hopped out the shower and went to sleep .

Wow . I cant stop thinking about Hakeem . I know I've only known him a day but he's ..different to me . Him taking up for me and the park was the best thing EVER . What boy would do that for a girl he barely knows? I dont know but I think im starting to like Hakeem . I need to get the feelings out so I got my diary out and began writing .

Age : 10

Dear Diary ,

I've grown to like him . He's all I think about . I can get him out of my head . Im only in fifth grade . Why am I feeling these emotions?

"Camri , dinner is ready!" My mom called out .

I closed my diary , slid it under my mattress and went to go eat . I ate pretty quickly and I went back to my room . I decided to go to sleep . I stripped down and threw on my basketball shorts and Michael Jordan jersey . I tossed and turned turn a little . Once I turned towards Hakeem's room I saw this bright light on . It was distracting so I texted him to tell him to turn it off .

Camri'sCookies : Turn your light off boy!

Five minutes later he replied .

Moaning&Groaning : Ok babe , damn .

Camri'sCookie : Goodnight -.-

Moaning&Groaning : Night babe ;)

That boy is all types of crazy . I went to sleep after that .
