Two MPs, one thin, one fat
Offer lobbying at the drop of hat
They use their power
To earn more by the hour
What sort of punchline is that?

AN: The limerick is a poetry form often used for humorous subject matter, with five lines, the rhyme scheme of aabba and the fifth line often being the punchline. However, being the pessimist I am, I used this form to comment on corruption.
Inspiration: Quite recently, a TV channel caught two British MPs on video offering politic influence for money. Though I hope this poem has come to symbolise corruption as a whole. You can read more about it here: http://theday.co.uk/politics/mps-under-fire-after-cash-for-access-sting

Anarchy
